Will I get enough bang for my buck with this white shirt?

Well, I fell into an AF store recently when I was in San Francisco.

I have been thinking about a white shirt from her for years.
Since I missed seeing the store when I was in Paris last summer and will most likely not be going back anytime soon, San Francisco felt like the 2nd best place to buy one.

I think it is classic enough to go the distance. But I question that it is too short to wear out with jeans. It could be my curvy hips that creates the fuzzy proportion thing..

To me it looks best tucked in and that will mean that it will be relegated to just skirts and layering(cardigan).

I was hoping for a clean white shirt /dark jean look.

So do you think this shirt is too short for my torso?

Bottom line…I want to be able to ‘wear it around the block’ enough to justify the price.

Wow, the collar and cuffs look beautiful and it is very flattering on you. In my humble opinion it looks great both with the jeans and tucked into a skirt. If you think it is too short for the jeans could you pair it with a longer cardi?

I agree with JuliJuli - I don't think it's too short for jeans at all. It's a beautiful shirt and I especially like it with the black pencil skirt and the great accessories you chose.
You can also try it with a little vest for another combo, and with cardigans, sleeveless knit tops and little jackets.

Kellee, I can't speak on the "bang for your buck" aspect since I don't know how often you wear blouses, but I think the top looks lovely with jeans or skirts. My favorite look is your styling of the blouse and black cardigan because it makes the beautiful collar and sleeve detail stand out the most. I wonder if the same cardigan or belts would work when wearing the shirt with jeans, too - they look great with the skirts!

To my eye, the multi-strand necklaces in the first photo was a little distracting from the collar of the blouse.

As an aside, I wore my B&W Express skirt today as well. I believe you were the first person I saw it on when you posted a photo of yourself a month or so ago. Even though I had bypassed the print in the store several weeks earlier thinking it wouldn't work on me, it looked so great on you that I ran right out to try it on myself.

The shirt is beautiful and I also do not think that it's too short for jeans at all. All the outfit combos are great.

I am convinced you will get SO much use out of this shirt Kellee. It's stunning, I especially love the collar!

I'm not an expert on this, but to me it looks 'borderline', i.e. just long enough to wear with jeans and trousers too.
And look at all the beautiful outfits you have put together with it already. It's definitely a winner.

julijuli -, yes I think a cardigan would work well with this shirt.
Antje- I would have never have though of trying sleeveless tops with it.
kari, I actually bought the sweater with the shirt. It has ruffles on the cuffs and all along the collar and down the front. I liked the fact that you see the ruffle hidden under the cuff. I really like it when a piece of clothing/outfit keeps showing you new surprises as you look at it. That is great about the BW skirt, I hesitated too(I have neon white legs) but it felt great when I tried it on. Great classic for me.
Tanya- Great to get your feedback. I think you really have a great sense of how to work clothing with your body proportions.
I would love to get your input about the sweater/shirt out with jeans. Maybe I will post that combo. The black sweater felt too short with my curves.

The bag is one that I am sitting with now… It is definitely a bit over the edge for me, so I am sitting with whether or not I will keep it.

If anyone has any thoughts about it, I am interested.
I loved the color. But I don't know. It may be too much for me.
Is it tacky or just a fun bag?

I just had a look at your other thread to see the bag Kellee. Could you perhaps take another picture of it? It's a bit far away, so I can't really see the details. I love the colour though!!

love it!!! it looks great with jeans, but the skirts are so so fab! the only look i didn't love was the first one with the multiple layers of beads outside of the collar(s). but it looks great with the necklaces tucked inside!

Gorgeous Encore! There's just something very crisp and elegant and modern about AF blouses... I think I'm going to go stare at the display window of the AF shop here for a bit now...
