3) Striped sweater: In the past I wore this sweater only in casual outfits, with jeans. I wanted to dress it up a little bit, I am not sure about the result:

4) I wore this outfit to see a play. Tonight proved once again why you should always dress up. I ran into my advisor from undergrad. I am interested in possible employment opportunities at my alma mater, so I did some networking. It felt good to be dressed up.

OMG would you adopt me so I could live with you and steal all your clothes and make you pick out my outfits everyday? No? Please?

I am totally blown away by every single day; I love how even on a casual day like Tuesday everything goes together perfectly. You always look pulled together, smart, fun and stylish.

The striped sweater is very nicely kicked up a notch with the brooch and the button down; no worries, it definitely worked!

That red flowy blouse under the moto for brunch is the new casual look I want to cultivate. LOVE IT.

Also love the yellow belt contrasting with the scarf on Monday. You look super-teeny in that!

Queenie - you absolutely have your own fabulous Queenie style!
San - I am embarrassed to admit this but I have a thing for vintage brooches. I regularly browse ebay and place bets on pins that I like. I have a strict limit though so I rarely win. (Especially after Mrs.O made enamel brooches uber-famous, it is hard to find a single piece under $5, which is usually my limit). I also check out consignment shops for brooches (even though I don't really shop for other things at second hand stores). I don't really think about how to incorporate those pins into outfits though. I am really more of a collector when it comes to pins. When I bring them home, I build an outfit around the brooch, or everything comes together somewhat organically.:)
Kristen - You certainly need to fashion advice! I would love to go shopping with you one day, though, especially scarf shopping. I am sure it would be fun. As for the Monday outfit, I really like that skirt. The length is perfect for putting my gams on display, which I don't think is my best asset, but this skirt somehow manages to make them look nice!:)

Such a lovely collection. I particularly liked the outfit you wore to the play, but there isn't one thing about any of them that I could criticize. That gold belt paired with the dark colors in the first outfit was just genius!
