I love it how this websote makes me shop my closet in ways I would never think of myself! Thanks Angie!

Hey everyone, another member here! I stumbled upon youlookfab a couple of days ago by searching up "multiple fashion styles/disorder" on Google. Through this website and from other style advice websites that others have linked in the forum, I've been learning quite a bit about how to define and organize your style/wardrobe and it's been helping out a lot!

Thank you for opening this site and forum, and I hope to be posting more in the future.

Hi! I've been reading youlookfab for awhile, and I'm looking forward to exploring the forums.

I tried writing this already but it disappeared!
Hello my name is Pegs and I live in Lincolnshire in England, I have just found this site, but I will say more another time in case this disappears too!

New member here-- longtime reader. Hello, everyone!

Hi everyone! Nice to be here. I'm a horribly fashion-challenged person so I'm looking forward to some help.

Hi, time for me to shift from reading to joining the discussions hoping to refine (maybe that should be develop!) my personal style.

Hi,
I'm a newbie here. I found you when looking for how can i stretch my shoes!! Great blog. Happy to be here.

Hi, I've been reading articles here for a long time and wanted to get an account because I have no one to talk fashion with. :/

Hi! I'm a new member! Love the site already!

Another newbie. Just learning my way around here but love what I see so far. Thanks for all the work you put in to this site!

Hi to all members of this beautiful Fashion Forum Community. Also that's to the maker's of this forum who's effort is speechless for this forum and all the work that you put into this forum. I 'm newbie here. And that's my first post to this forum community.
Thanks a lot...!!!

Stumbled across this site by accident and am loving reading the blog and gaining inspiration for outfits. Thanks!

Im a newbie, cant wait to start!

I really like that the fashion ideas are not only affordable (for me), but also available! I just bought a pair of the white Gabor shoes Angie wrote about and absolutely love them! They are as comfortable as she described them, I could easily find them in my size and I think I will take them with me to bed tonight

T good for me that i found this forum, i love this site

Hi,
My name is Michelle and I am from Australlia. You look like a fun and nice bunch of ladies and I am happy to be here!

I was brainstorming my fall wardrobe refresh and kept running across posts from YLF... so glad to see a fun, supportive environment for the style-minded

Long time reader, first time commenter. Thanks for creating this great community.

So glad to have found this forum, and Angie, just as we get ready for a temporary relocation to the Seattle area.

Love the site...well done.

New forum member, been visiting the site for years but have recently made a vow to upgrade my wardrobe that shows most days my attitude is, "Meh, this is good enough." Finally signed up to be able to interact and maybe get some feedback as I work on this. Love the site!

I am new to the forum and going through a change in everything life-wise. The funnest changes have to do with wardrobe, styles and color. They are also the most frustrating. Now in my sixties, things that used to be great to wear don't look or feel good anymore. I have opted to keep my hair its natural color (ash gray), and my body type seems to be shifting into apple/pear. Other changes are my skin tone which has taken on a redness (either undertone or rosacea, not sure which one?), and at the same time is sallower. It is hard to pick colors that go with the changes.
I have always felt I was a summer palette, but seem to look better lately in some of the softer warm tones too...the closest I found to incorporating that is I believe referred to as a soft summer palette. They seem to add color to my sallowness. I am really unsure on some of the changes and experimenting and hope for some clarification via feedback. Thanks so much for this forum.

Hi,

I'm a shop owner. And to be honest, I came here to leave my store url and just leave.

But when I started browsing I discover some amazing styles. Most forums are just crammed with fast fashion, but it's so uplifting to see women buying style and not trends and purchasing consciously.

Normally I'm on Stylezeitgeist forum, but I feel there's a vibe where you have to do as the forum members command. So I'm definitely going to post my WIW looks here, (I'm afraid to do it there).

Looking forward to meeting some new people here.

Hello to all on youlookfab. this is a fabulous website and i am so glad i stumbled upon it. i was doing a search on the storage of shoes which will be the topic of an upcoming post on my blog and this link http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....shoe-boxes came up in Google.

Hello all. Stumbled upon this site when searching for 'appropriate hemlines for pear shapes'. Anxious to see photos of what's been described. A picture is worth a thousand words, and IMO can prevent some major fashion errors on my part!

Hello everyone, i am reading for a long time (few years, sometimes more, sometimes less) but its been very consistent and supportive site so now i decided to try to show you my outfits and will be great to know some opinions about them. Very good site and forum! thank you

Hi everybody, this is such a great site and forum that I decided to join after a few months of reading. The creative part of me loves the variety and freshness of Angie's outfits, but it's the detailed descriptions and explanation of why pieces work together which has really improved my understanding and ability to create new looks. I now know how to style cropped pants and wear ankle strap shoes with confidence! Love the way everyone supports each other too.

Hi. Hoping my questions aren't redundant and answered elsewhere on YLF. If so, just point me in the right direction.

When you post in the forum with a WIW, do you always list the brands of your wardrobe items, or is that just if they are relatively new (and perhaps still for sale)? What about the stock photos with the model of the clothing that you're wearing, do you need to add those (with links?)

When you get responses on a post, there are little items below the responses with words like "wisdom" or "humor". What are those?

Thanks for the help!!
