About 2 years ago, I was taking a class where one of the students was about 5’9” tall wore a maxi skirt and a waterfall cardigan that was wrapped around her waist and working overtime as a wrap top. I loved the idea and filed it away in the back of my brain.

Fast forward 2 years and I finally tried it out myself this summer when I realized I had a waterfall cardigan of my own that I wasn’t wearing because it is just a wee bit too big. So I took the edges of my cardigan pulled them in opposite directions around my waist and voila! instant adjustable wrap top. I really like that this cardigan is made out of a mid-weight knit jersey. The material is fine enough to be worn as a blouse over my skirts for work (no peek-a-boo cleavage either!) or it can be dressed down with jeans (see below).

Has anyone else done this before?
