Walk shorts

Since it's getting warm, how about we have a thread to post our walk shorts?

My picture was taken yesterday after work. The shorts were altered from an old pair of khaki pants. I know that white would look sharper than khaki but this is so comfortable and I just wore it at home.

Nice flats! And very stylish shorts for home wear.

I will post my walk shorts ASAP. I'm planning on wearing them tomorrow.

very cute, julia! i think you could really pull off a pair of bermudas that are slightly slimmer and maybe an inch or two longer.

i might just be the creases on the front, but they look just a little matronly in this photo. the shirt and flats definitely make them more youthful, but perhaps a different silhouette would work even better on you!

if anything, it's just another excuse to go shopping! at least just to try on a bunch of different styles!

I love everything about it except the creases. I'd prefer them ironed out. Other than that, nice! I have a similar top and walk shorts so maybe I should try putting them together the same way.

Great length on you! You can wear your walk shorts a little longer too. You sport both lengths well. Love the top that you paired with it them. And of course own those shoes so I love them too. Have you tried clamdiggers?

I like the length, but I agree with shell's comment that a slightly slimmer fit might look even better.

Thanks everyone! I do have clamdiggers and slimmer bermudas. I'll take pictures tonight and post them.

I guess that I'll have to retire this pair or just wear it at home.

I love the bermudas, I think that both length and fit are perfect. The clammdiggers fit you well, but IMO they would benefit from a tiny amount of hemming.

Yeah it does look a little too long on the picture even though I don't see it in the mirror. It actually ends at my widest part of my calves.

Julia! I LOVE that J. Crew top on you! It looks great with the bermudas, and I agree with Tanya that the clamdiggers might need a little hemming. I think if you're going to go that length, you might want them to either be more fitted/slimmer leg, or wear a more fitted top. The black top looked better with that length.

i think the clamdiggers look cute with the black top. however, in the other pic they arent quite right - i think it might be the posing. when standing straight up, they kind of create an ice cream cone effect - the make your legs taper a little too much. i think the bermudas are a much better fit b/c they flare away a bit more from the leg at the bottoms.

I like the black top with the clam diggers...very slimming and the black and white is classic. (I also love your silver chain w/the black top).

I agree with Maya about the front creases though. I noticed a few of them have creases (or are there multiple photos of the same shorts?)

Thanks everyone! I agree that the Bermudas look better. However it's uncomfortable because the rise is too short.

I'm looking for a replacement. Ana mentioned about her JCrew ones but I didn't find them in petite. Any other suggestions for a pair of white Bermuda shorts?

Thanks Nicole! Sorry that my color is very off. It's a ink blue top with gold chains.

The white Bermudas in both pictures are the same, it has creases because it's too tight, I really need to get a new pair.
