Here are some recent outfits from December:

1. The pants from Mon 12/8 are a dark brown color (Clove as per the website). What color tops would look best with these pants? Also, I wore brown boots, but are there other color shoes that would look good?

2. I wasn't sure about the top from Thur 12/18. Sometimes, I think it hits me at the wrong spot, but I wasn't sure.

Today started off with freezing rain, so I decided to work at home instead of being out on the road. Today is my last day of work and then I am on vacation until the first of the year. I am really looking forward to that, because work has been really busy lately. I will probably be relaxing and wearing a lot of lounge-wear the next couple of weeks. Hope everyone is safe and warm!

Violet, you look great! I especially like the skirt with the denim jacket and
Monday's with the red sweater. That color is beautiful on you. You could wear footwear in grey, metallic, animal print, red, yellow, black...many choices with the clove pants.
I think the length of the Thursday top is ok. If it were a bit longer, it would hit you at your widest area. We'll see what others say. I think the ruffle peeking out the bottom of the jacket is sweet. Thanks for posting your pictures. I learn so much.

Hi Violet, I really like all of your combos. It's hard to pick a favorite! The white top looks great, I don't see any issues. I like dark brown with blues and teals. I can't tell from the photo the exact shade of brown but it should work.
Love your new haircut, too!

Wow. You look great every day! I really love the Tuesday outfit, because I'm partial to keeping things in the same color family, yet you really found a way to make that outfit interesting. Love it!

A super week, Violet. I like Tuesday's outfit quite a bit. It's polished and sophisticated. Very professional. But my favourite outfit is your skirt and boots look. So fab! Hope we see more of this look on you throughout the season.

Violet you look lovely everyday. I think the red sweater you are wearing looks great with the brown pants. I bet a dark royalish blue would look lovely as well. And in the Mon pic those boots fit you so well!!

The top you ask about I am not sure either. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

Thank you also for the suggestions of what to wear with the brown pants. I have a couple of blue tops on my wardrobe that I can try with them.

Joy - thank you for the suggestion about the shoes. I really like the idea of wearing an animal print with those pants. I hadn't thought of that before, but I think it would work really well.
