My weekly recap of last week's outfits! It has been annoyingly and unseasonably temperamental weather here in Florida for much longer than usual. I have avoiding making any cold weather appropriate purchases the past few months and it kind of reflects in the lack of variety in my outfits. For example, I own only one turtleneck which prior to this year has seen only 3 days of wear! We're expecting more temperamental weather the next week, so I'm hoping at least this week I can get creative in my layering to make my outfits more versatile.

I'm slowly trying to make use of the half dozen or so cotton tunics I had gotten tailored in India a few years ago. I love the color of this tunic and want to get a scarf in a complimentary color. I have a feeling the cream moto would have worked better than the black.

I changed and walked out to my car 2 times before I finally changed one last time and headed to work! It was an unusually cold, windy but partly sunny/warm day. I just piled on the layers so I could peel them off if it warmed up 10 degrees towards noon like it sometimes does here. Since, I did take pictures anyways I thought I'd post them here

Vani, you have such an awesome jacket collection! I love the outfit with the yellow top and moto jacket and the black moto jacket + Sweet Pea top outfit best. I haven't thought of wearing my Sweet Pea tops at this time of year - I think of them as more of a warm weather piece - but maybe I should try mine with my own moto jackets.

Feb 8th is my favourite, hands down. I'll admit I am biased since I have several kurtas that I can never figure out how to wear. I might just brave it and wear one to work.

Vani, I didn't realize you had gotten the Target moto in both colors; they each look amazing on you in different ways, no wonder you couldn't choose!

I love how you are wearing all kind of tunics, but my favorite days are the pop-of-yellow on the 9th, and that adorable orphaned piped sweater outfit on the 10th. I think I like buttoned better because the layering looks a little more intriguing, but it looks great unbuttoned too. I am a sucker for brown and black mixing, so I might be biased on my love for the 10th.

Kari, you have the most awesome scarf, tights and booties collection! Actually, it wasn't such a hot idea wearing the sweetpea top after all For some reason I thought it was warming up.

elpgal, I hesitated for a long time too. Till I figured out a few new was of wearing them. I love pairing them with tailored jackets and skinny jeans/ pants now. I'm actually thinking of nice sateen black cigarette pants to wear with kurtas too.
