Rachy -- I am sure that counts. Going with iffy is always better than talking yourself out of an outfit.
Echo -- I am all about breaking my own rules -- it wasn't always like this. Before YLF I lived in my little box and I liked it.
Wendi1984 - I completely support you on the horizontal striped. I had my own revelation earlier this year. I've tried on those horizontal striped maxi dresses they ARE quite flattering. The pattern tends to flatten out the curves on the Z axis and emphasize the cute curves on the X/Y axis. That's just my theory thought.
CocoLion - that is such a positive view on experimentation - if we don't experiment we don't learn.
MaryK - I am so not surprised to learn that you are on team "try it anyway". I loved your Pinspiration outfit for that skirt.
Karie - Another enthusiastic recruit for team try it anyway.
Joy - the mere fact that you didn't see the pockets the first time is just the effect I was going for. I'll take beautiful and brainy complements any day
Mochi -- that is exactly the way I feel, as if there are a lot of things happening right now that are preparing me for the place I've been trying to get to for the past 5 years. (A complete career transition from HR to Law)
FlorenceFearne - I took one of those hair bands doubled it up around my head. I pulled my hair back from my hairline a little in the front and a lot on in the back. It has the effect of looking like a fancy up-do when it's really a loose lop-sided ponytail.
Kkards -- absolutely, in the dressing room the worst that could happen is you hate it, the best that can happen is you love it.
Sveta - Before YLF I was not the biggest fan of animal prints. So many of the ladies have a snake printed something so I've warmed up to prints since joining the forum. I would never have believed that so much of your closet is try it anyway if you hadn't written it. Your outfits are so effortlessly chic.
Eliza - navigate is definitely the key word for recent events. I just can't wait to get to the other side already.
Shevia -- your outfits are so varied and inventive I can't believe your "try it anyways" don't work out regularly.
Beth Ann -- its a full circle moment for me being in a temp role my first position in HR was as a permanent placement consultant (headhunter). It's funny to be on the receiving end of services.
