to keep or not to keep?? Jacket Picture Gallore

Ok, I have a love affair with jackets!!!!! They are my favorite thing in my closet and I feel super fab in them. Fall is my favorite time of year, so before I start wearing these I wanted to post some of my favorite ones. I wanted to see how they looked on camera, and I wanted to get you guy's opinion on the fit of them. I want to keep only the ones that are flattering to my body. So please critique away.

Theory jacket. It comes with matching pants but I was wondering if it goes with jeans? I love the pattern. The sleeves are long and need to be tailored.

I would say keep the Cynthia Steffee, Classiques Entier, and all the Bebe. I love all three of these! The Classiques Entier looks perfect with the cami and denim as you are wearing it! I don't particularly care for the Tweed, it's not completely flattering. The Laundry seems too big; maybe because of the tie in the middle? I definitely agree that the sleeves are too long on the Theory and I don't think they go with the jeans. The Michael Kors seems too big-too wide.

BTW, where did you get your jeans that are in all of the pictures? I love the dark wash!

Here are my thoughts!

Short Black Tweed: Love the short sleeves! This could look really lovely if you belt it. Otherwise, it looks just a tad boxy - not much, but just a little more so than the others you've posted.

Laundry Jacket: Love it! I'd prefer if it were bowed rather than just tied off in a knot. The bulk of the knot may be the cause for it fitting a little too loose. Are you comfortable wearing it bowed or are you "anti-bow"? I just think it would look super sweet and chic if it were bowed.

Cynthia Steffe: Love the color - fit is impeccable. I love the color!

Theory Jacket: Seems too big and boxy. Not my favorite look of yours!

Bebe Jacket:I like it! Is it buttonable?

Michael Kors Jacket: Too big and boxy

Classiques Entier Jacket: Very pretty! Definite keeper!

Bebe Leather Jacket: Not my favorite It just looks a little too big overall. A more cropped version would look better, in my opinion.

Bebe Denim Jacket:Cute but rather casual. Not my favorite of the bunch, but I can see it having a practical application in your wardrobe.

Short Black Tweed: Not my favorite. There's nothing wrong with it, just not my favorite look.

Laundry: Fab!

Steffe: Fab!

Theory: Like it very much -- I have the same jacket. Would work really well with jeans. Fab.

Bebe: Great jacket -- sleeves look short.

Kors: It's too big on you

Bebe leather: Not as chic as you are...

Bebe denim: I think it has possibilities to be quite fun with the right other elements and accessories.

Wow! A super effort Muequita. I love jackets too! (And Autumn is hands down my favourite time of year as well). Here’s my 2 cents:

1. Short tweed – pretty but not your best neckline. Bustier gals look great in this neckline.

2. Laundry jacket – beautiful! Love the bracelet length sleeve.

3. Cynthia Steffe – impeccable!

4. Theory jacket – too long in the sleeve and not a great fit.

5. Bebe jacket – Sweet! Great fit and very versatile.

6. Michael Kors – not your best

7. Classiques – very pretty!

8. Bebe leather – not your best

9. Denim jacket – pass on. Bombers seldom work for pretty pears

I would keep jackets from Laundry, Cynthia Steffe, Bebe ( black non-leather one) and. Classiques Entier. Oh, and also the first cropped tweed one.

Yay! Thank you so much in helping me see the light. Like I said before I have a passionate love for jackets! It is almost a love blind relationship because I see one I love and I just buy it without really noticing if it fits me perfectly.*sigh* I keep thinking I can get it tailored or whatever. I WILL stop doing this!

Kristinaps and Shell, I got this trouser jeans years ago at gap online. It is probably one of the very few jeans that I haven't had to hem because the length was perfect for my 5'2" height. I love the idea of trying to belt that boxy jacket, Shell! I will try for fun one of these days when the weather cools.

Anyways, Nicole you made me laugh! I hadn't noticed how weird the Bowflex (or the parts that showed) looked in the pictures! It is a workout machine. My hubby is very intense about working out and we have a whole room dedicated to that in our home. So yeah, I took pictures in our 'home gym' that day. I like the light I get in the pictures because it is a very sunny room. Also, you can see some of my kitty toys in the background. LOL! They get to play while we workout.

Angie, I am very happy to get this input from you all...BUT it will still be hard to get rid of some of the jackets. I have decided to get rid of the Theory, Michael Kors , and the Bebe leather and bomber denim jacket for sure. I swear I hadn't noticed how some of those were big on me. I was again blinded by love.

All of your input along with the pictures help me see the flaws tremendously! Thank you all so much again! I REALLY appreciate it !

Great jacket collection, Muequita! And the jeans are perfect too. I completely agree with your decisions on what to keep and not keep except for the Bebe denim - it's too cute and is still flattering as a casual weekend look with your jeans - especially with an un-tucked top to offset the jacket's cropped length. I hope you haven't tossed it yet!
