Well, I hemmed and hawed about the metallic stripe dress but ultimately did not got back for it today. I don't think it is comfortable and versatile enough to justify the concerns I had about it. Thanks for your feedback!
However, this dress was a no-brainer for me. It's not as distinctive, but it's a bit of a blank slate to accessorize on a hot day when comfort is paramount. It's a light and breezy knit, with a slight high-low hem. It hits the right casual note for my summer days. It's not terribly exciting, but I like that it has a little bit of detail and shape, so it seems flattering to my eye.
I'm wearing it with a big tri-color necklace that I love but is so bold it's challenging to style. It requires a simple solid color top or dress, and I tend to wear a lot of prints. The rose gold arrow ring makes another appearance too.
