I took your ideas for styling the AT hot pink skirt. What do you think?

Does the belt work with this color pink? Or have I lost my marbles? I don't own many belts -- this one was a NAS purchase this year. If you think it'd work better with a different color belt, I'll go on the hunt...

I tried with a variety of shoe options, including bronze ballet flats and soft gray suede peep toes, which worked pretty well too but I'm thinking about wear-into-fall (can this color make the transition? or is it strictly summer/spring?) so for the pics I styled them with boots.

... have yet to try with denim shirt; I'm sure this will be adorable too!! I put the denim shirt in storage because I wasn't wearing it with anything other than black pants, and it didn't seem all that versatile, plus that combo kept reminding me of 1990s, since that's what I lived in when my kids were toddlers. If I can wear it with this skirt and undo those associations with it, I'll be really happy!!! Unfortunately right now I can't get to my storage as the kids are blocking it with their college packing.

Both outfits look super! I think this dress will work quite nicely into fall, and even into winter if your weather permits it (along with some hosiery, of course). Definitely give it a try with the denim shirt when you can get to it, that sounds like it would be fabulous. Love the idea of a crisp button up (any color really, white, lavender, blue, gray striped....) with this skirt, too.

Wow! I liked your skirt outfits in the earlier post also but these are stellar! I like the blouses tucked in as we can see more of the skirt. Both these outfits have hint of 'mod' about them which I really like. As Angie said, killer, both of them.

Deborah, love that you used the word "mod." I have a special love for mod! I tried this on with my most "mod" boots I own... and I did love it but for pics settled on the more classic boots instead.

The solid navy blouse has a banded waist and actually does not look all that bad untucked too. But Angie wanted to see it tucked so I did -- then added the belt since I'm trying to get used to seeing myself in a belt!

Aida - I have yet to try with a crisp button down ... this is my least favorite shirt to wear. I always feel overly starched and I fuss too much. But I will try it. I also have a cream long sleeve blouse that I think will work great. I was just trying out the navy with the pink since that sounded so intriguing compared to safer white or black.
