I picked up these rather unusual (almost crazy) striped pants (along-with some other goodies) from a flea market last month, and ever since I bought them, I've been wanting to style them. The first time I wore these were with a simple chambray shirt. But yesterday I gave these pants another spin, this time with loose CK tee and a denim shirt (also picked from the flea-market).
I don't think I would have picked up these pants had they not been the price they were (think about $1.5).
I liked my outfit, how about you? Would appreciate feedback, also possible outfit combos!

Vibrant look! Vibrant room! The vertical stripe pant is fun and something less seen in this era of plaids which makes them appealing. I'd keep your tops modern, plain and simple for these pants. Maybe add some edgy shoes or booties too.

I like the look! Is that a purple stripe along with the Orange? If so that makes them extra special! It's a great combination. You could subtly echo the purple, only a small amount in one accessory. Maybe a bracelet, or earrings. Any more might be too much.

Your outfit is perfect against that wall. The colors of the painting, especially the blue, look like they must have been your inspiration. I think that you could wear almost any color with these pants or go with a neutral top and let the pants be the star.

Pants, neutral fitted tank( brown, black,grey, navy,olive), chambray shirt/jacket
Pants, coloured tank or shirt pulled from pants, chambray shirt/jacket
Pants, floral shirt preferably in similar but subdued palette
Pants and logo tee/sweatshirt

Love the colours. Great outfit. The only difference I would make is a more fitted black tee/tank but love the sandals with the pants

I think you are hitting the right note with solid, casual items for tops.
Safari-style jackets in neutrals would be good. You might also be able to wear a cropped solid sweater over button-front shirt worn untucked. "sporty luxe" with a fluid sweatshirt might also work.
I like denim and chambray as the "great neutralizers" though--they seem to cool off hot prints while still adding some structure and interest.

DEB, I agree with you. Since there's too much going on in the pants, simple, plain tops would work best with the pants.
Staysfit, thanks for the suggestion, although there's no purple, there are blue/olive green/mustard stripes so I'm guessing an accessory with specks of any of those colours would look nice with the pants.
Joy, thanks. I agree, since the pants are crazy enough, any basic top should look good.

They are so cute on you. I love the outfit--casual, laid-back, fun, and stylish. Your photo, with the background picking up your outfit colors, reminds me of Angie's outfit photos taken by Greg, too--very artistic!

Fancy pants, indeed! You wear color so confidently and beautifully These are a perfect choice for you. Simple is best here, I agree. The relaxed look of chambray is a good choice. A boyfriend jacket would be a natural choice, too.
