I too prefer the white shoes. Lovely.
But I am still not understanding high vs low contrast. I'm not sure that hair color alone defines high vs low contrast. Skin tone and eye color also play a role, don't you think? I'm not sure I'd call your coloring high contrast - to me your coloring looks more medium contrast - your skin is a rosy shade rather than a pale white, your hair has lots of red lowlights. What color are your eyes?
Because of these factors, the coral+blue to me is the slightly more flattering outfit, really brings out the shades in your skin, hair, eyes and lights you up, and complements your medium contrast.
Mind you, there's nothing wrong with outfit #2 - it works too. Perhaps those with medium contrast coloring have more freedom and can rock high, low, and medium contrast outfits?
Or I am totally confused and have no idea what I'm talking about!
