I thought I'd really jump back into the deep end by posting a couple of outfits built around recent purchases. Chief among these is the Munro Robyn booties, which to me are a dream. The yettis among you may not understand how hard it is to find comfortable, desirable footwear in large sizes, but believe me, there's a good reason I feel like I just tracked down a unicorn. I now have to save up to acquire these babies in cranberry suede. Or leopard.
Anyway, outfit no. 1 consists of my boxing day loot. A pair of coated skinnies that feel like honest-to-god suede. I've paired them with this tunic and long gold earrings, figuring that's enough embellishment. And the booties.
Outfit no. 2 is something I'm considering wearing when I go see Les Miserables in town on Friday. Purple dress, grey pearls (a gift from a past forum member), black and silver bracelet to tie everything together, black patterned tights (which I can change to sheers if you think advisable) and the booties. Am I right that this silhouette of bootie can work with skirts and dresses?
Any and all thoughts welcome. Good or bad.
