I think all the outfits are great, you were totally made for dresses! I remember seeing your blog before I started posting on YLF, and thinking how great dresses looked on you. I definitely think the one you asked about is worth altering. I also think the jeans are too short for those shoes.
I especially love the layering in the Jcrew skirt outfit, how the ruffle peeks out from the sweater, and the pearls with it. Amazing!

I drool over that Calvin Klein black dress! The dress you asked about altering looks like it would be a great summer dress for Texas.
I agree that the jeans look too short if they are bootcut, but the bottom looks too narrow to go over shoes anyway.

Great outfits. The green sweater with the black and white spotted skirt ia very classy and fun.
I think the blue top could just be scrunched rather than hemmed and the Tahari dress is worth having fitted on you.

That mint green sweater with the dotted skirt is making me hungry for ice cream! And I mean that as a compliment. Love that color combo!

Sarah, you look amazing. My favourite outfit is the last one with the jeans, the lace blouse, and the blazer. I love the contrast between the ruggedness of denim, the delicacy and sophistication of lace, and the structure and professionalism of the blazer. I also love Tuesday's and Sunday's outfits.

How do you feel in the grey dress? I'm not sure I like the belt with it, which is throwing me off a bit. I think it has potential and is worth hemming if you feel great in it otherwise.

Tanya, my Steve Maddens are actually patent, but I've seen these shoes all over the place in various colors and finishes. They're soooo cute, but after awhile the peep toe part cuts into my toes. They need replacing eventually.
Brianna, I really do like the grey dress. My goal is to find a black, cream, and green patterned scarf to wear with it. I do like that belt with it, but I've also worn it with solid black. I like the hem that long with boots, but might not with a pump. I'll have the top part altered and that might effect the length a bit.
