  1. Hey folks - I'm back! And I still need help! I have a pair of shoes I wear in this outfit, but something is telling me I need to retire them....what do you think?

  2. I like the dress and jacket alot! The shape of the heel on the shoes seems dated. Do you have any black knee high boots?

  3. Yes I do, and I was thinking the same thing that boots might work better. Thanks!!

  4. Good to see you again! Cute outfit. I voted for unbuttoned jacket (looks more relaxed) and while the idea of the shoes is great, I do think a more current looking pair would add more sass. I've had my eye on these... the same idea, just more modern looking I think...

  5. The shoes are a bit dated because of the square toe shape and chunky heel. There are plenty of new options out there with a much more rounded toe which is a more updated loook.

  6. Time to ditch the shoes! I voted for either way with the jacket :)

  7. Another vote on retiring the shoes - and wearing the jacket open.

  8. Hey! I was just wondering about you because I was thinking of people who were around when I joined here a year ago that I don't see much now. Looks like you've gotten good advice so just here to say hi!

  9. Thanks everyone, for your feedback, and my intuition was right about the shoes. I am going searching for ones similar to what Queen Mum posted. And thanks Alaskagirl for saying hi - it's nice to come back and see familiar names (you too, Queen Mum!)
It's like coming back to Cheers and seeing Sam and Diane and the gang.

Well, maybe not quite like that....but you know what I mean! :)

  10. I like the jacket better unbuttoned to see more of that pretty dress on you. Great shoe suggestions here too.

  11. Welcome back!!
I agree the shoes can be improved upon.

  12. hey- I was just at Target and spied some really cute black heeled oxfords for $29. I tried one on and it seemed quite comfy. I have not considered buying shoes at Target for decades, but honestly, would have brought these home with me if I wasn't still nursing an ankle sprain. I can see them with your outfit.
