Here's my denim on denim. I actually felt really good in this as it seemed really casual and relaxed without being sloppy. What do you think? I also think this cardigan translates better IRL. Maybe I'm just dilusional

You look good! Hardly looks like denim on denim since the shirt and bottoms are such different washes. Love the popped collar, the pearls and the cardi. I love the shape and drape of the cardi on you. I"m guessing the colors looks better/different IRL than in the photo.

You have given us an excellent example of how to wear denims together. The pearls are the perfect touch. Is the cascading cardi a black and white weave? Wonderful outfit.

Gorgeous! I definitely think that certain things I own look better in real life than on pictures, so I can understand where you're coming from with that cardi.

If you glance at this fast, the denim shirt can almost look white due to the very light color causing contrast. The fact that it really IS a denim shirt makes this a very fab look.

I love this. The cardigan looks like it fits you perfectly, and is very visually interesting because of the texture and folds in the front. But...it doesn't overwhelm you at all--it's the perfect length.

I love this! The wash of that denim shirt is just perfect for your skin tone. The pearls give a perfect "dressy" touch to the whole outfit. And I like the fit of the sleeves especially on that cardi, they look very soft and stretchy, yet streamlined.

Love it Queenie! Doesn't look too overly D&D either due to the different washes. I think patterns are hard to capture on camera - the colours and shape of the cardie look great though!!!

Great denim on denim! I really like it when they are vastly different washes (probably why I gravitate toward indigo with black denims). The pearls are a perfect touch, as are the metallic(?) flats.

It looks like a VERY wearable outfit for real life

Thanks everyone. I do think this shirt and jeans are going to become the best of friends this fall... it was a really nice cozy casual feel.

Joy- the cardi is green and white actually. The pattern just seems to lose something in the photo translation.

Jonesy- you have no idea of my cascading cardi woes from last winter. They all seemed too overwhelm me, so I was really happy to find this one that seems to work much better for me.

Sara- I'm relieved to hear that it is an appropriate "real life" outfit as I did wear this yesterday "in real life" LOL... I worked the magazine drive at my sons school, did my Trader Joe's run and met up with a friend for lunch.
