So, I can't seem to edit my original post (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....eans-to-me), so I'm adding a new one.

Today I made hubby take photos of me with my bike. I wasn't thrilled with them, but here they are...(-:

I debated on wearing heels; I think heels would make this more stylish but the truth is I wouldn't wear heels to cycle in so I just went ahead and kept the brown booties; a nice flat, thick rubber sole so my pedals can really grip.

Also, I am wearing a stocking cap under my helmet. It's not the most stylish thing, but some type of hat is really needed this time of year since riding down hills can make your ears feel like they're going to freeze off and shatter on the pavement into a million bits. That wind will also whistle through the vents in your helmet and give you a pounding headache! This stocking cap is thin enough that my helmet fits easily over it. It helps keep my hair in place, as well.

I've also got on my black Burberry trench with a wool lining, and a pair of insulated black leather gloves. Leather is good because it cuts the wind.

I'm modeling my pretty green pannier bags from Detours, as well.

I like to wear this short black dress from Target for riding because I can wear it lots of ways (adding cardigans, belts, scarves, or layering long sleeve shirts under it) and if I'm going for a long ride I can easily pop my padded biking capris under it and they look just like any other leggings. I typically bring another pair of leggings along when I do this because wearing padded bike shorts around is really uncomfortable for anything other than biking!

I'd love to win a snazzy PUBLIC bike. While I love my bike because it gets me to a fro, it is really old (early 90's era - a hand-me-down from my hubby). I'd love a modern, stylish bike!
