Cycling style to me means dressing in a way that doesn't hinder me from hopping on my bike to run errands. This not only benefits the environment, but it benefits my pocket book (by saving gas) allowing me extra money to spend on more stylish cycling wear. It also doesn't hurt that it allows me to burn a few extra calories, thus continuing to fit in said "chic cycling wear"

This outfit was perfect for running a few close errands on a day that included a bit of light rain in the forecast. These denim leggings are perfect for cycling as they don't restrict movement as I pedal around town. My new red trench coat not only allows cars to see me more clearly, but also brings a touch of cheer on an otherwise gloomy day. And if I hit a patch of rain, the hood protects my freshly coiffed hair. The flat black boots keep the legs of my jeans from getting dirty and keep my footing solid on the pedals as well as the ground. A cross body bag allows my hands to remain free for safe steering and hand signaling.
