I would like to share my first 3 outfits that were inspired by the Mom on the Go formulas: http://s738.photobucket.com/al.....0-%2018th/

MOTG #1: Jeans + graphic T-Shirt + new look cardi + ballet flats
Because I don't have either an embellished nor a printed T-Shirt I opted for a button down shirt instead. I paired that with an empire-style cardi (ok, it's not a new look) and added boots instead of ballet flats. The weather is awful here right now and has been for many weeks so there aren't many options for footwear.

MOTG #2: Skinny Jeans + long sleeved T + scarf + tall boots
Instead of a T-Shirt I wore a V-neck sweater. I combined teal and light green for the first time and liked it a lot. The tall boots I am wearing are gorgeous for a mom on the go. They are so comfy, have a nice "grip" on snow and ice, are warm and I like their look. I have searched for a long time for a pair that fits my lean calves and this one is perfect.

MOTG #9: Skinny stretch knit pants + button down tunic shirt + casual belt + tall boots
I bought this tunic shirt yesterday. It's something I wouldn't normally wear, but I thought I might as well leave my comfort zone and try something a bit more trendy than usual. It feels strange but ok, and my 2 year old daughter said I looked "chic". Isn't that nice?

I realize that I only own basic and timeless pieces. Recreating the MOTG formulas is nearly impossible for me because I'm always the last to follow trends and I don't own anything like ponte knit pants, microcheck pants, tunics, boyfriend blazers. I actually didn't even know these were trendy right now. Wow. Coming to think about it I really dress boring and safe. Hope to change that soon!

Please share your thoughts, I'd appreciate your input on the outfits! Thanks!
