Maneera — I’ve said it before, but I just love how you have incorporated sporty into your style and yet kept it crisp and classic as well as a bit dressy despite being casual. This sort of mimics what I need to do.

Dana, such fun photos! Please post more. #3 is adorable!! And how you wear your hair changes your look so dramatically.

Shevia, your best accessory is that amazing hair. All your outfits are fab but you could wear anything and it would look great. (Love seeing the kids, too.)

C1 it’s been great to see you back here more often! And wow, #3 still just blows me away. So gorgeous on you. You look elegant and beautiful in 7/8 as well.

Ledonna, such fantastic variety. So hard to pick favourites with you but I would say #8 (fierce!) and #9 because you look so relaxed and happy.

Deborah — the blue!!! (#3) SOOOO beautiful on you. Your style is perfectly honed and gorgeous on you. Love the sandals.

Brooklyn, how I envy you your skirts and dresses. If I lived in your climate I would be dressing in similar stretchy tube skirts half the time. Love the comfort and ease combined with dressiness and it suits you so well. (Mind you, you also look fab in jeans). Can’t pick a favourite. All are great.

Kkards — you look so amazing in jeans and trousers!! #4 and #7 are complete standouts for me. Simple, sharp, and strong on you. Wow.

Janet, what an abundance of riches!! I can’t pick! You look stunning in every one of these!! But #2 is special (waving at Denise, too — both of you look beautiful!!) and also 25 for its juxtapositions, and 12 because I love you in a long jacket so much. My goodness, you have a great bag collection.

I have posted very few WIWs this year, but I hope I can still play this game This is one of my favourite outfits in general and could hardly be more 'me' than it is. It contains everything I love about my wardrobe: it's practical, simple, comfortable outfit in one of my signature silhouettes; one of the key neutrals is dominant; there's both high contrast and also beautiful shade of red in some form; and three pillars of good outfit are as good as I want them to be: happy hair, great handbag, comfy shoes. I loved wearing this and will happily wear it again next summer too.

Naz, #23 slays me!!! SO great. I also love 1, 2, 4, 15, 24, 26. Love your specs, too. You define Gamine gorgeousness.

kkards, you had an excellent year of style. #3, 4 and 5 are my best. Tailored and casually trendy.

Janet, it’s hard to choose amongst your consistently killer looks. I will have to go with #2 because I saw those outfits in person - and took the pic! #14, 16 and 23 are next on the faves list.

Columbine, hands down the lace dress. You knew that.

I just went though the photos I'd saved for this year and found lots of variety and inspiration from everywhere from the Random Outfit Generator to men's fashion. There's neutrals and color from pastel to bright, both low and high contrast, dressy and casual.

Joy, you're as eclectic as ever and as lovely! My faves are 3 and 9 because you look so impossibly cool (in both senses) in that one!

My favourites are 5, 7, 9 and 17.

I hope it's okay that I'm a little late posting. These are my favorites because I felt great in them. It surprised me to see more neutrals than brights. Lots of layers, contrast and shoes! I had a lightbulb moment when, Angie, you commented on one of my posts about my style being colorful, comfortable, flattering and interesting. I've been revisiting that thought every time I'd be contemplating my outfit or even a purchase. It's been very helpful!
It was great to look at everyone's favorites - what a fab group!

Here's my submission. It hasn't been the easiest of years, full of ups and downs. I was quite slack about photographing outfits so I've no pictures of some of my favourite looks and there are quite a few I shot and never got around to posting.

I chose these because they all felt great on the day and I like how they look in the pictures. Looking them over, I'm inclined to think I'm at my best when I'm not trying to achieve anything in particular and just following my instincts.

Appropriate, you look amazing in every outfit. They are all different looks but each looks "like you". If I had to pick a favorite from the photos, it would be 13 for those amazing pants and the color of your jacket.

Donna, I love every single outfit, I'm taking away ideas! Approprio, your boots in #16 are so great!

Wow, I've been gone enough not to know that this thread had become a tradition -- and what a great tradition!

I am inspired to improve my selfie skills and take more outfit photos this year. Nothing motivates me more to make an effort with fashion.

I really do get dressed -- in real clothing, not in gear or loungewear -- and made up every single day, but planning a truly interesting outfit, I admit I don't always do that just to greet the guy who is coming to fix the furnace. And I only see Mr. April once during the work week.

But for YLF, I shall do better.

Wow, Donna, you look amazing in every one of these, and I am taking notes! I think that now my hair is grey, our closets are going to get even more similar. Already we own a lot of the same or similar pieces. I would wear each one of these outfits in a hot second. And shoes!! You win in the shoes!

Approprio, what incredible outfits. Wow. I love them all. I'm instantly drawn to the more classic menswear-ish ones (that being my nature) -- e.g. 1, 2, 10, 16 -- but I'm also wowed by the more unusual combinations and pieces, like 12, 13, 14. Or maybe it's your smile in 14. That, and 4. Killer.

Wow Wow wow ....I need to spend some serious time reviewing all these postings....thanks SO much everyone for doing this ! Better than any fashion magazine because you are all REAL people each with your own style.

My favorites were footwear-driven this year. I could finally wear a loafer-style shoe thanks to the heel-less mule. (pictures 1 and 2) And, my splurge purchase of 2015, the Acnes, saw a lot of good days in 2016. (pic 3)
