Seattle Gathering: NOV 6th & 7th Confirmed

Schedules from Sept to Dec are usually hectic, so I'm brainstorming ahead of time while I have a moment.

I thought we would have one in Sept and one in Nov. One in Seattle when the sales are on (end of the month), and the other in Everett for another outlet store run in Marysville. Saturdays are usually best - and we have to eat beforehand! I vote Loulay.

I'm open to dates and further suggestions. And since I REALLY don't enjoy driving, may I please hitch a ride with someone when we do the far away outlet shopping thing. I promise to be smashing company.

All Fabbers are welcome.

NOVEMBER 7th: Outlet Shopping Day is confirmed.

NOVEMBER 6th: Seattle Shopping Day (all welcome)

I want to come to one of the functions! Is September Seattle and November Everett or the other way around? I'm quite sure I can do one of them.

ETA -- November is way easier for me.

Yeah - I could swing either one. September just sounds too soon, after all this fall NAS and other assorted retailing I just did. But a trip to meet everyone? I couldn't pass it up. Come on Suz - how about September. Vivian ?? Where are you ?

I would love to do one but my travel budget is getting stretched a little thin. If the Italy trip doesn't happen maybe I can convince Gentleman Friend to venture into the Great Northwest...

Robin, I'm tied up most of October too. You are going to LOVE meeting everyone.

We could do a littler gathering at the end of Sept and a BIG gathering with out of towners at the beginning of Nov (it has to be well before Thanksgiving in the US). The weather here will be MUCH better in Sept, if that makes a difference.

The dates are open, so we can do what suits the majority of Fabbers.

Old Chic, we used to have regular gatherings in NYC when we traveled there for NYFW twice a year. We haven't done that for a while for a myriad of reasons, and there are no plans on the horizon to travel by air - because of Sam - any time soon.

Robin, we will sort you out with transport.

Friday Sept. 18th is opening day for the Vancouver Nordstrom's. From here just a short hop to Seattle! Who has a Nexus card? Happy to drive!

My Dad lives in Bellevue, and I'm planning a visit in November. Dad wanted me for the Thanksgiving Holiday, so I know the dates might not suit. Will be in the area November 25-December2. Was actually planning to firm up the details with DH over the weekend.

Regardless, would love to meet any area folks and figure a visit (my first!) to Nordie's, is in order, during my stay.

I can drive Seattle folks too Angie and Robin. I've got 3 slots. The last weekend in September is open and all of October is free. So excited to see everybody again (or for the first time)!

Woohoooo! I'm down for both, and extra fun to have one up in Everett by me. Nov is one of my busiest months, I'll have to check about what I've got open but I'm sure I can swing something. Tentatively I think Nov 14th I'll probably be busy. September should be all open.

We could eat at the little pub we did last time we did the Everett meet up, depending on how many are coming. I can give better suggestions once we know more about our numbers. Happy to coordinate food plans for that meet up; carpooling to the mall from breakfast would be best, too.

Looks like we can't please everyone with the Sept dates. Anna, Ann & Sharan are away on different dates - not a common Saturday between them for that month. Oh, dear. Looks like Ann and Anna can make the 26th of Sept, but Sharan can't. Sharan - can you swing your sewing class at all?

We should do the Nov gathering in the beginning of the month - say the 7th. That leaves people free for Thanksgiving prep.

I've blocked out Nov. 7th although I can do any date in Nov. My in-laws live in Everett so this will be the perfect excuse for me to visit and leave my darlings with them for the day while I get some much needed adult time. Yippee!!

September is still up in the air...waiting to find out choreography dates for my daughter. November 7th looks pretty good on my end. I could coordinate a carpool from the Eastside, if necessary.
