Sorry I have not yet chimed in. If you can believe it, I have been in....Seattle!! We have been in PDX all week getting DD2 set up in her new apartment and we came up for a whirlwind 1.5 days with my friend Beth, where we fell in love, again, with Edmonds. So sorry I could not see you Angie - we walked through Nordstrom and I thought of you and it killed me! Nov sounds fantastic - I'm going to try to gently nudge some clients in that direction, and if not, make the trip my birthday gift. Lisa, you'd better go!!!!

Wow!!! Just got back from holidays and am SO excited to see this thread! I can't do September but Nov 7 just might work for me! I'm marking it on my calendar but as usual my schedule will be up in the air due to the local hockey gods. At the moment, however, it looks good and I might be able to shoot down for a little outlet shopping

My son the doctor is just now moving to Seattle and I'm going over on Monday, at his request, to help him clean up a house he'll be renting near Gasworks Park. Nov, 7th could work! I would love love love to meet you all!

Yay! I will start booking my flight and hotel. I'm thinking I will arrive Thursday night since my 2.5-3 hour drive to Bay Area airports will make for a long trip. So I will be free all day Friday. Thanks for offering to shop with us in Seattle that day Angie!

OK. I can definitely do Nov 7th at the outlet mall. I haven't been there since I first moved here 7 years ago! Well haven't been SHOPPING there. Generally, I stop in on my way back from Vancouver to hit the loo and get a beverage at Starbucks then hit the road again. It will be nice to hang out without a time crunch!

I'm still intending to come for the Seattle day, but can't officially confirm for awhile yet. I'll know for sure sometime in October. In the meantime, I'd love a recommendation for a convenient hotel.

I just purchased my airline tickets! I depart 11/5 Thursday, arriving Seattle around 3 pm. Depart Sunday 11/8 around 10 am. I am coming on Thursday so I can visit my friend. I am completely free on Friday and Saturday. Woohoo!

Do we have a locale in mind for our Seattle shop? I'm thinking about arranging my accommodations, and I prefer to ditch my car in town. I can take 3-6 people to and from Everett, though.

I thought I would pop back in to say I have my flight booked and will be staying with a friend, rather than in a hotel this time. I will be renting a car though. I'm aiming for a standard or mid-size rental (I don't like driving really big cars). The car could carry 3 plus me and I am happy to drive to Renton.

I hope it's ok to invite my friend to some of the activities as I've bragged about how great the women (and men!) are within the YLF community. I don't think she'll come to Renton though as she's not a big shopper but who knows...
