I made it four out of five days this week.

Monday:
Gap cream cardi; J Crew matchstick cords; J Crew blouse; J. Campbell shoes.

Tuesday
Talbots super clearance suit with hot pink top, tights and J. Campbell shoes. I thought this was a good outfit, but when I saw the photos I thought the jacket was unflattering; perhaps too boxy. I suspect it just emphasizes my lack of a real defined waist.

Wednesday
Laundry jersey dress. I was looking for new ways to wear the cream boots and pulled out this oldie but goodie. I have a couple others I might dust off if you like this one. I went through a jersey dress phase a few years ago.

Friday
NL sweater (Xmas gift from husband), NL skirt (sitting in closet with tags for 2 years!), Nordstrom brand pump, BR necklace.

I have mixed feelings about the Talbots suit. I think the pieces are great separately, but together they seem overwhelming. The skirt fits you beautifully and I really like that pink top outfit.

I really like the wrap dress with cream boots. It's such a fresh color combo, too.

Love the jersey dress with the cream boots! I really like the Talbots suit pieces but agree that together they may be a bit overwhelming. Maybe try treating them as separates? I think the skirt looks great with the pink blouse and I can see the jacket with a solid pencil skirt.

Looking great as always! I did like the jersey dress with the cream boots quite a bit, but I have to say that Friday outfit was my clear favorite. There was something about that long pencil skirt line, the cute ties at the elbows of the shirt, and the pointy-ness of your heels that just all came together perfectly. The phrase "long cool drink of water" popped into my head the second I saw the photo.

I must be the odd person out, but I like the suit pieces together - you are tall enough to pull it off really well. In fact I liked the outfit better in the second photo, with the jacket on.

Yes, dust off those jersey dresses and start wearing them - that dress looks wonderful with your signature cream boots!

I do not think that the Talbots jacket is too boxy, but it could be too much with a matching skirt. How about trying it with skinnies?

Ooooh, lovely! You look so great. I love the NL top, soo pretty! And I agree with Laura, I think the suit works fine together; it might not work on everyone but somehow you pull it off and it looks just right! And it does look like the pieces work wonderfully individually. Love you in the dress as well, and oh, so boots... they just make me smile every time I see you sporting them in a new outfit. The only outfit I'm not so crazy about is the first one, the cream on cream is a little too light for me. Love the ruffle blouse, though!

Friday's outfit is wonderful! I especially like the longer pencil skirt on you. Would the Talbot suit jacket work with that skirt? You are looking so slim! Congratulations on the weight loss. I know it's not easy.

Kyle, I really don't have words for you, you look fabulous as usual. I like the suit, you seem to pull it off well but I couldn't get a good sense of the proportions because of the way you're standing in the picture. I really like the jersey dress, you look so good in it!
