Behold: a window into my scattered packing process! Clothes all over the floor, mirror lugged into whatever room in which I happen to be experimenting, and plans that get abandoned when I change my mind in the morning. Anyone else take the mad scientist approach to dressing?

#1 is what I will wear on the plane when I head out to see my dad. The 50-cent "Burberry" plaid scarf sports a couple discreet spots of discoloration, but it's a soft rayon and a bazillion percent cheaper than a real one.

  • Plaid scarf - $.50 at flea market
  • Valette sweater - $4 at flea market
  • Gap jeggings - Gap Las Vegas, baby!
  • Rockport boots - where did I get the black ones? Ebay? Shoebacca?
#2 is what I planned to wear today - and will wear someday! - but that I wasn't into this morning.
  • Rag & Bone sweater - handed down from BFF
  • Free People scrunch skirt - Nordies
  • Crystal necklace - gift from awesome YLFer
#3 is what I did finally wear, including a very, very old flea market find that I finally sat down and repaired. The slit had ripped open and the hook-eye closure had come un-sewn. But the important thing? It. still. fits.
  • Feather print skirt - $1 at flea market
  • Target tee - $1 at flea market
  • Frenchi cardigan - $1 at flea market
  • BP necklace - Nordies
  • Oh! Shoes booties - Amazon
Now if only I can be happy with what I packed once it's time for me to get dressed...
