WOW. What a night. HECTIC mix-up at the end for best movie - GOOD GRIEF - and lots of strong messages from winners and the celebs themselves. It was an emotional and entertaining show.

As far as the looks go, here's my rundown, in no particular order.

Favourite Looks of the Night:

Taraji P. Henson, Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Faye Dunaway, Nicole Kidman, Ruth Negga, Kate McKinnon, Octavia Spencer, Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Beale, Amy Adams and Emma Roberts.

Best Hair:

Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Pauletta (Denzel's wife).

Craziness! Reminded me of when a mistake was made about was it "Miss Universe"?
My fav's - Emma Stone, Viola Davis ( I would wear that dress in a heartbeat) and Naomi......white dress(she was up for best supporting actress in Moonlight - could not believe the transformation!

I think this year's gowns were pretty boring. i didn't care for her dress, but Halle Berry's hair was the best hands down.

I loved Emma Stone's dress! Her overall look was my favorite! Scarlet Johannsen had the best hair!! My favorite dress was the one worn to the Sci-Tech awards by Leslie Mann. That polka dot dress was gorgeous and fun!!!

Yes, what a nutty finish!

Jessica Biel was my favorite, and Emma Stone a close second.

And, I have a soft spot for Halle Berry. It was good to have her back.

hands down....I thought Denzel Washington's wife Paulette had the best gown...the color, the neckline, and sleeves!

my other loves....Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis

I'm on the fence about Cynthia Erivo's gown....I love the idea of it...but the more I look at it, the more I think something is just a little off....maybe the top of the gown needed something different....not sure

Ann, Janelle looked fabulous. Very maximal, and she was brilliant in Moonlight.

Bella, I didn't think Halle's hair looked "Oscars appropriate". Fab for the Grammys, and I liked her dress. Perfect for her body type.

Ledonna, LOVED that Mahershala Ali won. Very handsome man too. Pauletta's hair was stunning. Added it to my faves.

Naz, Scarlett's hair was soooooo Killer Sublime, I can't stand it. I thought Michelle was extremely pretty, and loved her very short pixie too.

Lots of love for Viola, and with good reason. She is very deserving of Best Dressed, and the Oscar.

Xtabay, there was soooo much emotion in Viola's speech. It moved me too.

Ryce, Pauletta did have a FAB accessory on her arm. I wanted him to win - although Casey was brilliant too.

The dress and accessories I would want to wear...Jessica Biel. I loved that dress on her. I also liked Halle Berry's dress with her hair, but liked her better in the short pixie cut. In general, I liked the dresses and thought there were many glamorous looks.

I've only seen a few photo round-ups, not the live event itself. So far, my absolute favourite is Viola Davis, and I too loved Scarlett Johansson's and Michelle Williams' hair.

What a great show last night! The ending was a bit too dramatic for me (VERY happy that Moonlight won, but felt bad for the La La Land gang on stage) but overall I thought it was quite fun and included some good speeches.

I loved Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer,Viola Davis and Kirsten Dunst, although there were many looks I liked. All classically glamourous!!

I also loved Scarlet Johannson's hair.

The other person whom looked very elegant was Isabelle Huppert, her make up was stunning with her pale dress.
