Nun Shoes and Shutter Shades

These shoes received mixed reviews from the forum, but I decided to keep them due to the fact that they are insanely comfortable. Here's the original post:

I've already worn them twice with bootcuts and am trying them today with a monochromatic skirt look.

Jacket: Ann Taylor
Skirt: Halogen seamed pencil skirt
Blouse: Halogen in magenta
Necklace: Banana Republic
Shoes: Ara Vicky
Shades: swiped from DS!

Bonus shot: Trying to be a little braver and include more shots that are not headless!

What do you think of the shoes worn this way? Opinions are welcome, as always.

Kappy, the jacket is comfortable although I wish it was just a tad more fitted. I need to take it to the tailor and have the belt loops lowered one of these days. It is from last year, btw.

How could one not respond with such an intriguing thread title?? I really like what you've done with these shoes. They aren't something that I would inherently be drawn to, but you make them work. It just goes to show that styling makes all the difference in the world...

Hehe, you had me at shutter shades. I missed the first post on the shoes, but I like them a lot with this outfit. They play the same role as an oxford shoe, IMO.

hey, i love nuns, i love shoes, ergo i love nun shoes...and yours are phenom with that suit look. a heeled shoe is expected. the oxford is unususl and quite edgy.
