The whole idea of being able to wear certain pieces when it is warm and when it is cold, gave me a perfect excuse for a little splurge at Neiman's. Since I hate buying fall/winter clothes when it is summer, I bought instead clothes I can wear now and later.

Milly blouse with the leather skirt. I could not bring myself to put the tights on, but I will be wearing tights with this skirt.

I must tell you how much I admire your style.. You LOOK AWESOME in everything you put together. I study your style. You have a natural way about your fashion ...You Own IT....nothing ordinary about anything you wear...I am blown away, the sophistication is off the chart... and my inspiration.)

I often think of something you have done when I put an outfit together and recently put one of my husbands ties with a black pencil skirt and white button up.....EVERYONE.. including my husband loved it...thanks!! keep posting:)

Oh. My!!! I am on my first cup of coffee and your photos just completely jolted me awake. I did a double-take on the first photo, thinking that was the photo of the model from the NM website and lo and behold, it was YOU! Wow. The leather skirt (is it a plum color?) with the Milly blouse has blown me away. And the shoes plus the first dress.

I need to get a second cup of coffee now so I can recover.

LOP, Inge, Laura, thank you for your comments. I am really excited about the leather skirt because I completely forgot I had (spent 5 years in the back of my closet) it so it feels like a new piece for the fall. Yes, it is plum color, a color that I have never worn much, but now I am crazy about. Plum, electric yellow and grey are going to be my favorite colors for the fall.

Ladies, thank you so much for your super nice comments. I am really looking forward to wearing these items as the weather cools down.
The "secret" behind my photos is that my husband built a small frame on which he hangs a backdrop. So I use for it outfit photo shoots (they are really snapshots in my husband's vocabulary, but photo shoot sounds much more glamorous). I put my best Zoolander face on, and that's pretty much it. I also edit furiously because most of the time the facial expressions are priceless
