I was kicking myself last year that I never got in on the nine west fan print dress that everyone raved about. Then I saw it was available, same pattern, but in green and turquoise, at overstock.com

'It looks short, is it short? Unless the model is like 6'2" with long legs I would have to wear it as a tunic! I actually love the orange one in a different print also listed, but that is cause orange is my favorite color.

It's an amazing dress and I'd absolutely buy this one if I didn't have the red.

Elly, the picture is very misleading, IMO. I'm 5'5" and the dress comes to just above my knees.

It is definately not as short as the picture. As for the neckline, it goes kind of low but it's very narrow. I wear a cami under it if i'm wearing it to work but not for social occasions. in other words i dont think it needs a cami but i err on conservative side at work

Thank you, neeva!!! I just ordered the dress, which I had passed on in the red/magenta version. I love this color combo! I am 5'8" and ordered a size up hoping for some additional hem length. If not, I'll wear it with ponte leggings as a tunic.

I get compliments by the triple dozen EVERY time I wear this dress. Since it is so memorable it kind of limits how many times I prefer to wear it, but it doesn't bother me. My MIL who is very sparse with compliments, raved about it. The guys I work with who never notice much as me why I don't wear dresses more often (which I do but they never notice, ha!) This dress is definitely the best $30 I ever spent

Yes Claudia... I definitly advise to order a size up as this dress does not run any too big. And on me (5'7") it hits a couple of inches above my knee.

Wow, Laura -- coming from The Gorgeous Dress Siren herself, now I am REALLY excited about getting this dress! Yeah, sometimes it's "you snooze, you lose" and other times it's "good things come to those who wait." Thanks again to Neeva for sharing the info.

Laura, I give you so much credit for holding to your SYC pledge, because I know just how hard it is. I have been trying to spend as little money as possible for financial reasons, but after purging my closet of pre-YLF stuff, I knew I couldn't commit to only SYC. If it's any consolation, I was dying a few months back when you posted your NAS haul: I was only able to get Shimera underwear this year because I had two big college tuition payments due at that time. I feel your pain and in all honesty I should not have spent even this money on the dress. Hopefully after your SYC challenge, this dress will still be available for you and you will be rewarded by getting it at an even more reduced price.

Claudia that is such a nice thing to say!! I've been staying away from threads where people are talking about what they're buying but I couldn't resist yours! I wore that dress so much that it is pilling around the hips (from my moto jacket rubbing? Not sure. It's kinda weird). But maybe, just maybe it will be around in Jan. And if not there will be something else - there always is

Okay, I caved and ordered the red/orange print long sleeved version - a non-black patterned dress with sleeves is one of my big wardrobe holes... Hope it looks as good on me as it sounds like it is on everyone else!

It's a great dress. I too get compliments each time I wear mine. The neckline is a bit low and a little funny but works great with a lacy black cami underneath.

I went back and searched all your old WIW posts in the dress and looked at all your photos. The dress truly looks so good on everyone, really, really flattering. Kari, you look so amazing in your's. UPS tracking has me scheduled for a delivery date on Thursday. I hope it will look as great on me! I'm excited to be receiving it.

It came today! It's a lot more green and less blue than I expected it to be (ok, they called the color jade, so I should have known) -- but I think it's a great dress, just as everyone said.
