nine west dress!

but no pics yet, sorry gotta go back to work!

i am 5'4", and it hits me a bit above the knee (~1 inch). will this still be work appropriate sans stockings and boots/heels? i'd love to wear it when the weather
warms if possible to get the most mileage...

overall, i love it too! will send pics later tonite...(and the others i promised a few weeks ago too, oops).

here are a couple of pics from my fiance's flickr album.

the first one i wore to the doctor's office a little while ago (please forgive the weird expression, i was enduring 2 big canker sores in my mouth at the time, ick).

the second one is the nine west dress (again, disregard weird hair and tired face, lol).

fiance doesn't really dig outfit #1. does something about it look strange? i liked it *shrug* i'd appreciate your feedback, constrictive crits or otherwise!

is outfit #2 too short to wear to work with heels, sans stockings? i plan to wear it with stockings and boots for now...

I think it would be work appropriate with stockings and boots for sure.

I really, really like outfit #1 - I think you look fabulous in it - definately nothing 'strange' about it!!

Wow i love the first outfit and another gal who looks great in the nine west dress. IMO it would be fine sans hose if you wore boots for extra leg coverage or with hose and heels x

The dress looks beautiful on you, I think the issue about the hose would depend on your workplace.

i am a little torn with the nine west dress, because it may not be suitable with bare legs. with the exception of 1 cotton summer dress, all of my dresses are knee length jersey/sheath, and can be worn all year. the NW dress was expensive for me, and i'm not sure if its limited use is worth the cost

however, i adore the cut and color *sigh*

i guess outfit #1 is ok, lol. in the past, my zeal for bright colors has gotten me in trouble live and learn!

I really like the first outfit too. I think the nine west dress is fabulous on you. I don't think it's too short for bare legs at all. Mine is a tad shorter than yours and I plan to wear it with bare legs. One thing I really liked was that when I sit, I can still drape the skirt over my knees, unlike sheath dresses which hike up and I'm constantly tugging them down when I'm sitting.
But, you have to weigh the cost against how much wear you will get out of it.

Is the Nine West dress the first one, in orange & black? (Sorry, I'm behind on forum reading.) It is stunning on you and if at all possible PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep it.
