Added New Pics : New Glasses Yes/No

Hi Ladies,

Received my new glasses today!

So far response has been positive with my girlfriend and my boss loving them. I'm worried I have entered Dame Edna territory lol(I was worried about this with my cat eye pair too.)

But you are the experts!

What do you think. They are more round than my other cat eye style black ones so it's a bit of getting used to. They still have the "lift" to the top corner which I do think is flattering.

These are not a replacement they are a second pair and I was looking for something softer than the black to change up my all black outfits.

Honest opinions appreciated. I can return them. I get my glasses on line and the return policy is excellent.

EDITED TO ADD two new pics. For some reason a proper front on shot is beyond my abilities lol Two have my eyes fully centred I am going to have to find very small glasses. I think I will check Spec Savers again and see what's new:(.

Woman please lol "old glasses" ,got me giggling at 4 am in the morning. I thing they are very eclectic and funky. I am a tad bit old at 42. Let's wait for the other Family to chime in.

Ledonna what are you doing up at 4am??? 42's not old, I'm 50 and probably a little "sensitive" about some of my style choices lol. Get some sleep:) xx

Oh they are really nice. I like them. As someone who wears glasses all day I really appreciate how new glasses can uplift a whole look. I vote keep

Part of my PTSD from the war is insomnia. I'm thankful to have YLF and Facebook to help. I just work with it and sleep in shifts. I used to work ageist it but over time I can get my eight hours but not just at one time. It's all good. But I'm going back for a nap in a few. Have a great day. I love them, too, Deborah. They are still edgy, but a little softer than the black. Definitely not Dame Edna!

This is a very current style. My new sunnies are similar and I had the same reservations but I think we are just ahead of the curve!

I cannot tell you how relieved I am! Thank you and I sincerely am seeking honest feedback. Glasses are so tricky for me as I have a tiny face and most frames are huge!

Absolutely keep! They are totally on trend here in the US...I *almost* bought a similar pair for my prescription sunglasses but mine would have been a direct replacement and I chickened out since I tend to keep my sunglasses for a while (they are pricy, especially with progressive lenses).

MrsK they are from Clearly.com I have been very happy with my other pair and the range of frames is huge!

I can honestly say they look fab on you. Great addition! I've been eyeing a similar pair for my prescription glasses that are in desperate need for an update. Since I mostly wear them around the house (contacts when I'm out) I'm having a hard time justifying the price, I seem to always pick the most expensive frames.

I did just add a pair of fun sunglasses that are not my usual black frames. I can totally justify splurging on sunnies because I wear them often.

Debs, unless it's the angle of the pics and the specs have slipped off your nose - they look a little big for your face to my eye. Your eyes are not sufficiently centered in the lenses. But they could look different in person. Shape on the other hand, is good.

I love the tortoise shell pattern against your skin tone, and find the black too harsh - and too black with your 90% black wardrobe.
