I hate to be the cranky one here, but I find it hard to get a read on the fit/size because of how you are looking up into the camera rather than straight on - I had the same thought as Angie did that they looked a touch on the big side. I say this knowing what it's like to have a small face. Many, if not most glasses I try on in shops are way too big for my face too. And then, may I say this? I like the shape for you and the tortoise idea, but I am getting a polka dot vibe from these because the tortoise contrast (between the dark and the light colours ) is so high (especially on the piece across the bridge of your nose) They don't read "soft" to me as much as they read "statement" .

I didn't notice the fit issues until Angie pointed them out but assuming they do in fact fit, and the angle of the photo is the issue, I really find them much more flattering and am suggesting that they be the primary pair.
Very pretty and elegant.

I am soooo jealous!

Now I'm taking notes about properly fitting glasses. I still like the overall look.

I like the colour but I also thought they seemed a bit big. I do like your eyebrows. I have become very eyebrow aware.

Thanks for the various feedback, it's much appreciated.

The pattern is snow leopard and they are the smallest I can go before looking at children's glasses lol! The width of the individual eye frame is 46!! So I'm going to say it's the angle that is making the size look off. It was a quick in the car selfie;). I will try to take a proper front on photo for clarification.

And Lisa and Angie thank you, this helps immensely xx

I'm get some struggle with online shopping for frames but I have very limited options where I live and have been unsuccessful finding frames that fit my small face:)

Just a gentle bump...new pics hopefully a more true angle to view xxx

I still like them. They're a statement, but they're right for your style. Btw, my eyes aren't quite centered in my frames either, that would only be possible if I would choose very low height frames (which aren't fashionable right now).

Astrid thank you! I went to the glasses place today to have a chat and it's my eye placement lol. Even children's glasses don't allow for centring my eyes in each lense. We tried on differing shapes and sizes and the glasses would have to be ridiculously small to make it possible

Hi Deborah.
The glasses are nice but I'm not so sure. It could be that the light colour looks almost invisible which make the spots stand out too much to my eye.
I must say though, your hair is quite fabulous!

I still like them, but as Lisa said it so well, they are statemet for sure! (NOT Soft!) But think your monochromatic dark looks can only benefit from the extra attention you'll get by wearing them.

Thanks again ladies! I'm completely confused lol!! But I'm working through it:). Tried some others today but once again all too big!!

Thanks for the new pics, Debs. The shape looks much better now. Less overwhelming, and your eyes are adequately centered.

I love the leopard specs, and am not that fond of the black. Will you be wearing them all the time like me?

I love them even more from the straight on view. Yes, they are sort of statement glasses, but I think they very much reflect your style and will work well with your mostly black wardrobe. Fun!!!!

I love them! May I ask what brand they are?

I love them! The snow leopard are keepers!

Wow, size 46 - that's small! Mine are size 49, and it was hard to find a pair of frames as small as that.

I like them on you. Front facing pics are hard to take, but from what I can tell from the last photos, the size looks good. The color goes nicely with your skin tone.

Phew!!! Angie has spoken ... Thank you... And I'm keeping:)

Banoffi they are by Kam Dhillon. I love their frames and also Derek Cardigan.

Angie I wear my glasses pretty much all day at work. But I do take them off and on as my issue is seeing detail and the computer. My distance is fine. They are multi focal and more and more I find I leave them on even when not at work.

I will alternate these with the black pair (which I do love) determined by what I'm wearing and how I feel. I'm not wearing a lot in the way of accessories at the moment so I do want my glasses to fill that role:).

Ladies thanks again for the thoughtful feedback, it's much appreciated xxx

I really like them Deborah and am pleased you are keeping. I didn't want to comment earlier as I am not an expert and don't trust my eye. My new reading glasses are a stippled look and I am really liking them. I only wear them at my desk and for reading but I need to grab them more and more for labels

Late to the party, but I love the snow leopard glasses!
