NAS lust...had to do some local fall shopping

Just thought I would share my local haul for fall....the bug really got me looking at all the fabulous items at NAS. And what made me pull the trigger was the grey Michael Kors coat, just one in each size was available. I waited a week and then just had to go back and get it!

1. the culprit coat
2. a pair of miss mee jeans, I didn't buy when I was home for Xmas so I was glad to find these little bling babies here on 50% sale (still cost more than I would have paid state side)
3. a pair of 15 dollar wine paisley trousers from H&M. I have been trying to resist the bugundy trouser trend but for this price felt I could play!
4. A grey silk blouse that I intend to copy in several colors. I love the way it falls and looks under shorter jackets!
5. a white sparkly T to help inspire me to wear my collection of blazers over jeans.
6. a before photo of a jade blazer I snagged at Zara for 65% sale
7. THe after photo of same blazer with lace added to make it wonderful ( inspired by a ralph lauren photo)
(the color is correct from the first photo)

thanks for sharing my fun! I feel I am 80% ready for the next seasons. Just a pair of black boots, new black booties and a burgundy blazer/indoor weight leather, and I am good!

Anyone else got the bug despite soaring temperatures?

When I read "wine paisley trousers" I thought -- "sounds like Jayne!" Glad you've found items you love. Me, I want that grey silk blouse and am envious you're having it whipped up in different colors as well.

I had to lol at rachy, as usual. I got the inspiration from a Ralph Lauren pre fall ad in a magazine. I tried finding the jacket online but cannot, so I just tried to make one like it. it took about 3 hours to snip the lace and sew it on by hand. good thing I didn't know how long it would take before I started. it was kinda relaxing and my kids are away so I have the time.

ramya, I got the green blazer at zara, and the red slacks at h&m. the grey top was from a special store called Haust which I think is also the brand. the grey coat was from another special store that specializes in designers like Michael kors and locally "line of Oslo"

Lace to the blazer, brilliant idea. A lovely collection of new items here, nice finds! I think I just overhauled my wardrobe after shopping NAS this year.
