My First Week of pics

Well I managed to keep up taking photo's for a whole week so that alone is a huge achievment LOL Although, the Sat - Sun pics were taken today when I arrived home after a weekend away so they are crumpled, and I haven't washed/done my hair etc.

Some I like, some I don't...

The things I've worked out I need are:
Accessories - coloured bags, beads etc and of course new specs

Dresses - cool, summery dresses that are slightly longer (I'm short waisted, and very tiny up top, so I'm finding anything that fits me is too short because my legs are too long for the rest of me...)

You're so pretty! Of these I really love the Feb. 6 outfit (black/gray dress with leggings and flats) and the Feb. 3 outfit (pink dress, black cardi) is nice too.

Hi Theresa! You certainly do look cool and comfy.
My favorites are the two black dresses and the pink dress. In fact, the only outfit I"m not crazy about are February 5th. You need more up top than spaghetti straps (but I know how it is when it sweltering hot, so I completely understand)
You're coming along great! I agree, some accessories and fun dresses and you'll be well on your way

every time I see you aussie gals post your summer pics it makes me yearn for summer to come here! I know I'll be whining come mid August though.

Cute outfits! You look great! I really like the pink outfit.

Do you ever wear scarves as accessories? I know it's hot, so it's probably the last thing you want, but a patterned gauzy scarf would go a long way for you. I've actually come to like scarves even more than necklaces, they add such a nice bit of color and you can tie them in so many different ways.

I've been following your posts, though I haven't logged in a lot lately to comment. You are so lovely. I think you've got some outfits with great potential. I agree with you about your needs. I think longer dresses would be pitch perfect. Some of the shorter ones would look great with leggings underneath, like you did with the black dress.

I love the clams with the tunic. I don't prefer the light skirt. I've gotten an aversion to those kinds of washes. With the other skirt, can you untuck the shirt?

You are doing great! So wonderful to have another aussie on the forum.

I love Saturday night's outfit. The dress and leggings look great together. I like the red beads with it. Like you said a colored handbag would be nice, too.

You look lovely Theresa! You're on the right track and are doing very well. Definitely try and get a darker wash denim skirt. I too live in a place that can get brutally hot in the summer. Non-spaghetti strap cotton tanks, breezy blouses and dresses are perfect.

Feb 5th- I echo the ladies about the thin straps but it's not so bad how about adding a long pendant necklace?
Feb 7th- that dress looks so much better without the jeans
Feb 6th black dress I LOVE this dress both with and without the beads looks fab
Feb 6th cream dress- very cool and summery looking
Feb 2nd- i'd add a bright belt
Feb 3rd I LOVE this too
Feb 4th- i know you feel this needs colour but it works great as a monochromatic outfit i think it's the sparkles on the top which give it a bit of a kick and pull it up from plain

ITA with the comments re the lighter denim skirt - its on my list to replace

I bought (for a whole $1) a new scarf on Saturday - its only about 3" wide, its very light and gauzey and I'm going to try it as a necklace type thingy tomorrow... it will be quite an adventure cos I've never done this before!!

Oh you do look fabulous in the heat, my personal favourites are the clams with the tunic, the pink dress and your Saturday night outfit. I also really like the styling of your beige dress.

I do agree with your assessment that a couple of well placed coloured accessories could further enhance your (already good) style.
