My boho lite - YouLookFab Forum

Whoa, didn't post that much at a time in my all life here:-)), but gotta thank Angie for the inspiration on this one.

I have purged some shoes on the weekend but these sandals (several yrs old) have survived somehow (guess because of the ankle strap) and thought will incorporate them once again in a boho lite outfit, my way (but will toss them later as worn out quite a bit).
The chiffon blouse is something I wouldn't have bought for myself but got it free(!:-)) shopping online with a "pay for 3 get +1 item gratis" ad.

I wear a black cami under and would like opinions of which look is better(as grinning in action):
- cami tucked in the skirt(nr 3) OR
- left out under the blouse(nr.4).

Worn for work, today.

Lovely outfit Lyn, I love the combo of the boho blouse and white denim. So much fun.

I have a slight preference for the cami out, but I think it works both ways.

I would wear a cami matching the bottoms to avoid the grinning -in this case white.

I like it left out as in 4...The outfit either out or in is just TDF...I love the denim and contrasting top...Great look...

This is Boho Lite Fabness. I LOVE that top on you, Lyn. ( I remember wearing one in the '70s and '90s too). You have gorgeous legs.

This is such a pretty outfit on you, Lyn! I love all of it and would like to have it when you are done with it.
I slightly prefer #4, if you're wearing the top without the vest. But I think the line of feathers camouflages the grinning just fine in 3. Plus, with the vest over it, who will notice that aspect at all??

Fun! That top looks great on you. I prefer the cami untucked so there's no break but since the top is patterned you can get away with either, especially with the vest on as Firecracker said.

I prefer the cami tucked... and you look lovely in this combination! The tucked cami stays put better and makes the outfit a little lighter looking.

I like #4 the best, although I didn't see a lot of difference between it and #3. Both look great.

Nice outfit! I especially like it without the vest because the blouse is so pretty and a good fit for you. The shoes are just the right touch. While the white is very nice, I wonder if you also have another skirt that in an orange or brown that would carry both the color of your hair and the orange accents in the blouse all the way down? If you do, I think that would be quite nice on you for another day.

Tanya, your boho outfit is closer to Angie's, took a peak right now. Love that colorful flowy blouse and ankle sandals, love that shade of coral in general, YLF in it!

Angie thank you, legs are one of my assets I am also confident about(but they are getting veiny with age:-() think there comes my love for skirts and dresses:-).

Ledonna I wore the vest only for driving the cold car in the morning, but agree about the importance of the 3rd piece.
Firecracker, Aida- great analysis, and yes, I did have a slight preference for the cami left untucked, as per not having a break in the column from underneath.
Joy white skirts are a staple in my summer wardrobe, I pay attention to have it in different weights and level of formalities. This one is denim but use it often for the office.
Gigi I haven't worn these sandals last few years or so, and almost forgot how comfy a heel with ankle strap can be. Unfortunatelly the thin strap is worn out quite a bit so it doesn't make up for a true polished outfit, and weekend don't really do heels...I'm sad they'll have to go, I would buy them once again if possible...
WB good idea, I do have a brown cotton skirt-and will do for the weekends- but then, it will be a true bohemian:-). I paired it with crisp white for achieving a lighter vibe, so as Angie's was, and perhaps suitable for a casual office.
Crutcher, Cocolion, Celia, Carter and all. Thanx for the kind words. I see the pol about tucking the cami or leaving it out is almost 50%-50%. We, here on the YLF, like to make it perfect, but guess nobody else would notice the difference...and we should be OK with this:-))
