Relevant to yesterday's blog post, I thought I'd share this lace hoody I made recently. The fabric, which I ordered online from marcytilton.com, turned out to be thicker than I had envisioned. It's almost like terry cloth! When it arrived, I had doubts about the shift dress I had planned to make out of it. I decided to make this hoody, since I had wanted to test the pattern for a possible class. I like the juxtaposition of the dressier looking fabric and super laid-back style of the hoody.
This is just how I styled it to photograph for the class posting. Any thoughts on other ways to style it for actual wear?
