Back from a very short forum break! We had an extended weekend due to a few national holidays. Feeling much more relaxed now after the family get together madness DS1 had his dental appointment for a cavity and he was cool as a cucumber (he got a temporary filling and later this week he gets a permanent filling). I heaved a huge sigh of relief .... it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But it doesn't take away the mommy guilt. Although I am glad we survived the first part. Now to the culottes

If you remember the last time I tried these culottes I was a bit shocked at how it looked. Today my eyes again went back to them and I got a smaller size on sale. After seeing Denise and Anna rock theirs, I wonder if my eyes (and yours) have adjusted to the longer length of these culottes. I am seeing all lengths of culottes in the blogosphere, so there doesn't seem to be a right or wrong? But is this length flattering on me .... that is the important question that I need to get answered. I could get it shortened at some point.

I have styled them now to have a proper feedback from you all and decide once and for all if this works on me. I love the change of silhouette it brings to my regular outfits. So here we go:

1/2/3 - Front and back view of the culottes with a cropped orange top and ankle strap pumps

4 - with cropped sweater and ankle strap pumps

5/6 - Same as 4, but with ankle cuff flats (Does this work with flats?)

7 - With a semi tucked fluid white top and heeled sandals

8 - With a fitted sequined tank and ankle strap pumps

9 - Trying the volume on volume silhouette. with a drapey layered white blouse and ankle strap pumps

Do you think they need to be shortened? Does the length work with flats? Or is it stumpifying? Anything else that you notice is off?

Thank you for looking and all feedback is welcome! x

P.S - Sorry for the goofy expressions and the icky hair! Heat does that to me
