Keeping sandals for now

I can always donate them if they don't work. Too much hassle (for me) to pay shipping, send back and keep poring thru the site for another pair of shoes I'll like. I'd rather finish up my credit with them and move on.

My denim on denim look (somehow I've never thought of something as "denim" unless it was blue).

I just rolled up the cuff an extra turn. I suppose it's better that way. Don't know if it'll stay up.

Cute! I like the extra roll on the pants, more summery. Fun to see you in such a light look. Didn't get a chance to comment on your previous hair thread but the new cut looks SO GOOD.

Well, you look FAB there but you have to like it, too.
It may be just a small tweak does the trick--maybe you can do light and summery but with mostly neutrals--denim, navy, white, leather tans.
Or maybe there are colors that are rich but moodier--a summer version of burgundy or a rust top instead of a busy print. I learned I do better in "quieter" versions of colors or deep saturated colors, and not really bright, glowing-sunny colors, but still like to add color.
I would still try some of these same proportions because the overall look is excellent.
