I wore this dress out for the first time to visit a friend on saturday and felt ladylike and cool at the same time...
The only thing i would add to the look is a big necklace instead of the earrings, but i don't own anything that would go with this piece yet.
I could have gone bare-legged but preferred the warmth and the slight sheen of these pantyhose.
I own lots of minis and frequently wear them with nude tights even though I'm only 23. I don't think they are aging per se, but I stay away from heavyweight and matte versions.
Do you ladies ever wear nude tights?
Also, the last picture refers to a little anecdote...
When i arrived at my friend's house, he pointed out to me that the print reminded him so much of a news picture where our Belgian princess Mathilde and the Dutch princess Maxima were spotted wearing nearly identical houndstooth outfits to an event.
He took a picture of me and photoshopped me right in!
Who knew the guy was so fashion-conscious...
