Gold bootie outfit 2: better?

I got a lot of compliments on this at work. Chacha Vente dress, OTBT booties. Is this a better match for the booties?

Bonus photo of what I changed into as soon as I got home, including a new to me hat from consignment. These leggings are like a thick soft knitted tweed. Is this okay or inappropriate?

Ooh, I'd like to see IK's suggestion.
I never fail to be impressed by the style boost metallic shoes provide. You look smashing in that outfit.
The at home outfit could take you out of the house too, imo. The topper provides plenty of cover, if that's what you were thinking about. Penny

I think these are both great! Although I'm not quite understanding the use of the word "inappropriate" in the same sentence as "changed into as soon as I got home!"

I agree about loving outfit #2, and I think it would work well with the gold booties, too, especially with the hat.

I like the darkish dress colors with the burnished good of the boots. I still think they will be very versatile, just that they'll really set off some outfits more than others. Keep having fun with them.

I also love outfit #2 and you look very chic in it. (one is very nice too). I think the gold would warm up all the cooler tones. It is the kind of outfit I would expect to see in a big city.
