Sorry for another bad photo - a little blurry and with plenty of harsh shadows. :T I am still trying to dodge remodel trucks and workers while renovations happen in our complex.

This is a very casual outfit worn on a day off. Went to return the Brooks Brothers Trench in size 2 (it is now at the Century City location, FYI), and then stopped by work to research shoes and accessories for The Big Day tomorrow!

You all are well aware that NAS starts tomorrow, but it is also the first time I get to act as a Personal Stylist! My position is still the same (a regular SA), but I am also on what they call a Go-To Team of associates who get to handle stylist appointments as well. I am very nervous but glad I have my Dress for Success experience to look back on.

I personally think this year's sale looks better than last year's, and if I had last year's salary, I'd be buying a lot more. For now, I will live through my customers and spend tonight planning the finishing touches for my fitting room setups. I felt like few people wanted to be tied down by appointments, but those who would commit really wanted to come on the first day. I am coming in early and am booked through closing - whew! I hope some sizes are left by the time my Stylist appointment comes in...

Good luck with your first NAS! I am at the NAS from 8 to 8 tomorrow - and so it goes on till Tuesday. Lots of tea and cake for me this week. I will post on the forum along the way.

Yeah! Among the many things I've missed on YLF are your sweet casual outfits Rae. You've got that part of your style NAILED DOWN. Your approach to warm weather dressing always inspires me, especially as we've had a string of warm weather up here (like two weeks now, whaaaaat??). I'm looking more forward to the big sale after reading some of the thoughts posted here today, I wasn't terribly excited by the catalog. Only marked a couple things. Hope you have a fabulous time being a stylist for NAS, I know your customers will be happy. If I was anywhere near you I'd be shopping with you, for sure

Anybody who gets you as a Personal Stylist is soooooo lucky! I hope you have lots of great stuff left to show them and in general have a wonderful, hectic day tomorrow. Just a small tip - totally unrelated, but might prove useful. These days my husband is in the midst of an insane thing at work, and one thing that has come up? Lack of water! He's all over the place lately and literally has no time to get himself any water. Ridiculous, but true.

Do me a favour? Drink a 500ml bottle or glass of water before you leave for work tomorrow, and make sure you get breakfast too. If it's that busy at work, you don't know when or if you're going to get a lunch break - so drink some water (along with your coffee or tea), and eat something, even if you're not hungry - because who knows when you'll get a chance to take a break? Even if it's 6 am and you're not hungry - make yourself eat something.

Rae you look great & I just realized upon reading this that I should have booked with you tomorrow. I was at my local Topanga store today returning shoes & ended up making an appointment there. They let me look today & pulled a few things so I should keep it with them. I didn't pull much & might not get anything because I don't know if I need anything & will not know until it gets cold & I have nothing to wear or have plenty to wear.
