I stepped out on a (fashion) limb a little today, so I thought why not take another little step....
The big leap was that I never considered wearing heels with capris. One of those "oh, that looks so cute on others, but I could never do that!" things. I'd been dying to pair my taupe heels with a bright blue, though. I looked for a dress forever and finally gave up, then these capris came into my life. And I have to say, to JCrew's credit, the gals there did not even bat an eye when I asked them to hem the capris to the length I wanted. Also a brave moment for me because I'm not slender. That doesn't really bother me IRL, but somehow letting it all hang out here takes a little bravery for me! That's my own hangup, though.
