My concern is the "lace up" area at the ankle .

They were inexpensive, under $50 each, but if they are not going to go with me towards the more polished look I am trying to hit I should close the barn door on them.
They will be a staple for me.. daytime “dress” casual boots.
I can fall into the horsy, L.L. Bean barn coat look very easily. No offence to anyone. I have 4 Barn coats and love L.L. Bean.
A friend of mine said she would inflict harm(ha) if I dare by another Barn coat. She is a YLF member too.
My return to her is about my reaction if she dares to buy another jean jacket, in any other possible material that exists
I like things in their original design/format. I almost bought paddock boots(riding boots).The lace up is for tightening your ankle area(great for someone like me who has had damage to that area while riding).
But those boots ..aren't made for walking (Nancy Sinatra!) Love that song.
