Dress Rehearsal - YouLookFab Forum

I have finally had a few moments to myself to try on my whole Mother of the Groom outfit and with the wedding a week from Saturday I would love to get your feedback. Things have been so crazy around here! On top of all the wedding prep, we have our house on the market and have been having showings like mad. I just wish it would sell already!!! We have come in second place 5 times:(

Anyway, back to the outfit. I found a beautiful bracelet and earrings at Nordstrom and am hoping these compliment my dress and shoes. I decided to curl my hair, not sure if I will do this for the wedding or not. Also, the bag is one I have hanging around, probably won't wear it down the aisle or anything but just to have my tissue and lipstick in. Does it work or should I look for something else?

You look stunning! That dress is just so lovely and the color is delicious. From the photo, the bag looks fine. Does it feel dressy enough? If not, I have an interesting silver leather bag with a jeweled clasp that you are welcome to borrow if you want to try something different. Just a thought!

Joy, thank you! I did post a picture of my rehearsal dinner dress....here it is. I had the hem brought down as much as was possible which was only about 1 inch. The rehearsal is at a casual brew house, but since we are hosting I thought I should wear a dress. I have some turquoise glass beads ( an Angie recommendation from a few years back) that I plan to wear that go perfectly with this.
