Two days off, and two days of minor errands, housework, and lazing about watching Dexter on DVD. Not much to show! But I did manage to get dressed and out of the house.

1-2 are from today: a trip out to Trader Joe's to get supplies for my upcoming work week (which in my world pretty much starts on Saturday). I think next time I would either do a solid top or un-ripped jeans, just because I think my preference for details is changing. A year ago, I think I would have thought all these items were very simple and plain, but now I feel really ALGO.

3 is from yesterday, the trip to Target for cat litter that resulted in pants reconnaissance. Inspired by Angie's post with her long shorts (and by the heat of the day).

Overall, I feel like there is too much happening in both outfits. I think I would also choose one color if I were to redo yesterday's outfit. But oh well, I'm still learning about my new style shift, especially for casual outfits. The work situation is much more dialed-in.

How have you ladies handled a style shift in the past?
