works for me! looks great in fact. When I read the post title I was envisioning a button up blouse over a cardigan, and wasn't sure how you would have pulled that one off

When i read the title i thought uh ur hows that going to work. After seeing the pictures i had a complete turn around, it works. I was thinking like queenie that it would be a button up blouse x

Tricia - Yes, my first two blog reads of the morning are YLF and Academichic. So when I saw E's post yesterday, I had to try it that day! In fact that purple top and yellow cardi are seldom worn so it was nice to get them into rotation.

I think it works...you can't really tell that it's a cardigan, it just looks like a sweater.

I'm impressed with the color combination, very fun.

I can see this combination having potential if the weights of both items are compatible. But I am not completely sold on the look, though.

Very innovative! I think it works best using a lightweight, fine-gauge cardigan and a slightly heavier blouse (usually it's the cardigan that is heavier and the blouse underneath that is more lightweight).
