Can this be springified? And a couple outfits

Here are a few more outfits. I'll probably run out of stuff to post soon as you've just about seen my entire pregnancy wardrobe. Ha! I do try to mix things up, of course.

In any case, here's an outfit that's just ho hum. I'm wondering if the top can be made any more spring like. The picture is dark (sorry!) so it's hard to tell but the top is more emerald than turquoise. I'm struggling with the shawl collar. Any ideas?

Here's a sheath I got that is cute but not so comfortable to wear. Pregnancy polyester strikes again! I'll definitely need to wear something under it next time. I had high hopes for it since it is fairly busniessy. I'm thinking with a slip (I may just have to get one in a big size?) it can be saved. http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....CN0540.jpg

You look great Alecia! What a chic mom-to-be. Your favorite outfit is also my favorite -- I love the beads and the outfit proportions of the jacket and the bootcuts.

I can't make out the details of the green top, but perhaps you can add a long string(s) of beads -- bright yellow or coral would be my choice. Or a neck scarf and cropped cardi in bright colors.

For the green top, I might try swapping the dark pants out for white or cream to make it more springy, or as Cathy suggested, a bright color necklace or scarf. You look super cute and stylish!

Can the sleeves be rolled up or scrunched at all the green top? Do you have a short bold necklace? Maybe something flowery? Or a long metallic necklace?

The second one was sooo adorable(although not comy you say) but just too cute with the purple jacket and boots.:)
I also love the third outfit...and your hair in that photo...slicked, my favorite part, good grief it gave the outfit a bit of edge:) FANTASTIC on you!!!

I don't have anything new to add that's helpful, but I just want to say that you look fabulous! Seeing super-stylish mommies like you and Patience makes me want to *almost* have a maternity fashion do-over. :o)

Taylor, my maternity wardrobe consisted mostly of overalls (sorry, Angie)! Ms. Alecia is just killing me with her gorgeous maternity style! :o)

You do look gorgeous Alicia. You are one hot mama. I like all of the things you got. If the dress isn't comfy, something under is a good place to start.
The last outfit looks beautiful.
The green shirt looks pretty, and basic, good for layer on different necklaces or add a scarf, but you say the shawl collar is bothering you so can you return it?

Alecia - your maternity outfits have all been great. It's already been said but I think a brightly colored necklace within the neckline of the green top would make it look "springy." And I love the third one -- you are one hip mama.

My maternity outfits were all so hideous, and at the end absolutely NOTHING fit my short round body. (Apparently no one in the industry thought short, overweight women ever got pregnant in order to actually need maternity wear, 'cause, man, there was NOTHING to choose from!) I was almost relieved when they put me on bedrest those last five weeks so I didn't have to get dressed or leave the house anymore! ;-P

I can't get over how much maternity style has evolved. I'm sure it's because stylish mamas are voicing their opinions and DEMANDING better!

You are a beautiful mama! As the others have said, accessories and cardigans in lighter spring-ish colors and prints will help lighten things up. For that green top, a necklace or scarf in a pinkish shade would be pretty.

The last outfit is KILLER! Your slicked hair, the pattern on the top (too bad you can't do something similar to the sheath dress...maybe a statement necklace?) and the jacket all make the look so sleek and put together.

Since I cleaned out all my maternity wear this past week, I was dismayed at how dowdy maternity fashion was during my baby popping years. Blah! Mamas have such cute styles to choose from now. : )

How could I have overlooked white beads as a spring option?! Thanks, Taylor. I think I have the perfect necklace for that. I do have a pair of lighter pants that I need to get shortened. I also have a pink necklace that I'll have to try, AJ. Hmmm. Ideas, ideas.

I think I can make that top work for spring now that you've spurred me along. I'll make sure to post a picture when I get that all worked out

I'm hoping to find a yellow bag to add to the mix very soon. I know Angie said blue is the big thing this year, but I just can't help but love a happy yellow bag. We'll see if I can get it worked out.
