I had no idea what I was missing out on! I love my new white buttondown- it seems to add polish and pop to an outfit. I wore it 3 of the past 4 days :-0

I had less than 5 minutes to throw this number together last night to go meet friends for dinner. I didn't think I did half bad for 5 minutes.

Today-- you've all seen this dress ad-naseum but you *haven't* seen it with my sparkly white buttondown The sweater might be a tad long in proportion to the dress, but I decided after a gazillion days of rain I needed a shot of pink today.

Wow! You look fantastic in the white shirt with the dark or bright color contrast. I look forward to seeing more combinations with it.

When I wear a white top, people ask me if I feel okay--I look pale and washed out.

You Look so great with that button down blouse under your dresses...the other photo's look super also, but I am partial to the dress with the adorable pink cardi, and the dress with the denim jacket....FABULOUS:)

Iwear them alot in the summer with skirts too:)

I love these outfits. They are very fresh and fun. Gosh, it's hard to pick a favorite. I do very much like the dress with jean jacket and necklaces. Now I'm going to try a button down with a sleeveless dress!

thanks ladies-I guess a button down *is* a no brainer, but somehow I had it in my head that they were sloppy on me. I'm a convert now though...

ohhh Queenie, I grew up in San Jose...I know exactly where Oakridge is...I went to Branham and Leigh...of course that was the turn of the century:), so they may not still be there:)

One of my favorites would be the dress w/denim jacket look -- white shirt with denim is always fafb. I also especially like the shirt under the tunic - it turned it from regular into polished.

Did you keep the gray/silver button down too?

thanks Carole, Kari, and Sara- thanks for the sweet compliments. Yes, if you have a button down, pull it out and put it to use, I was quite pleasantly suprised at what it could do for a simple outfit.
Sara-no, I didn't keep the grey- when I went to exchange for a smaller size, they didn't have one so rather than settle for a less than stellar fit, I returned it. I'm sure i'll find plenty more button downs in the future...

I hadn't thought of putting a button down under a tunic sweater. I like it and that necklace adds a nice bit of oomph!

AJ, yes, the pink cardi is NY&Co, as is the buttondown-- They had a bunch of stuff that was "buy one, get 2 free" plus I had a spend 75 get $30 off-- I came home with 6 items but only kept 2 and together they totalled about $14.
YOu can get some good deals there if you work it right
