...or are you a SNORT?

I'm channeling P.D. Eastman today. The two Guess jackets came in. Pic 1 is the moto. Pic 2 is what they call a bomber, but I think it's more of a scuba jacket.

I think I need to try them on again when it's less hot, because I can't think clearly right now. They both fit comfortably, at least, but I'm not in love (yet). I can't tell whether I'm being critical of the jackets or my body. Color is somewhere between cognac and brown.

(Zipped photos are just for fit reference. I would rarely, if ever, wear it that way.)

Chuckling at your title! I like that moto on you! I don't know anything about fit so I leave that to others.

Gosh Jenn, I rather like both of them (maybe slight presence for the "bomber/scuba"-clean lines when left open). I'm extra cranky/critical when it's too hot--so I've been rather impressed with everyone putting on multiple fall clothes and snapping pics. See what others say and maybe try again when it cools a bit.

I really, really like this color on you. The shape of #1 is fantasic on you, too. I would keep that one.

Trying warm clothes in hot weather is the worst, nothing seems to fit well.

I really like both, also! I prefer the moto style, and it seems more congruent with your style. The color is really nice on you. I like how it complements your hair, and it seems like it will be easy to wear with just about anything for that reason.

They are both great. I kind of wish for the lighter tan colour simply for how it played with black...but this colour also looks really good on you and both styles look wonderful. I think my preference is for the moto but that could be because I truly enjoy my own moto and like my scuba type jacket a little bit less.

I like the Moto. Very classic. It's great but is not cognac. I still really like the colour.
You might be feeling tired from trying on so many jackets from NAS. Sometimes I get " product overload" and need a break.

I can understand your problem deciding. They both look really good. I like the color of the first one a smidgen better though. I think you need a try on session when it's a bit cooler and you've had some rest so you can test the options.

I'm not great at discerning fit, especially from photos, but wondering about the fit of the shoulders. When it cools off a little and you can bear the layer maybe you can just double check that they're not too wide...

I have no strong preference but think they are the best of the bunch so far!

I like #1 best, the asymmetrical line of the zip is more interesting and flattering to my eye than jacket #2. I really like the colour and fit of both jackets too, definitely the best that you have tried on in your quest for the perfect leather jacket.

I prefer 1 if you are going to wear it open most of the time. I feel like there is something more interesting about how the moto lies when open. It's sure a lovely brown!

That's it!!! I like them both, but I have a preference for #2. It looks equally good worn open or close, while I see a bit of pulling in the first jacket when zipped up (that's probably because of the asymmetrical placing of the zipper and not because it's the wrong size)

The dark brown of both is very appealing, but I confess that I don't like the way both seem so short when zipped. Makes me feel the fit is off...

I like the colour of both of these. I prefer the style of the first one. It does seem to pull slightly when it is closed but you don't plan to wear it that way. Love your hat.

I love PD Eastman! My mom read those books to me, and I read them to my kids I like the first jacket better. I tried a similar style in black today and found it very flattering. I'm looking for a jacket this color, but not real leather.

I need to give this some thought and try on again tomorrow when it's cooler. Here's a photo of the color next to my cognac tote and my more taupeish-brown Oxfords. I'm not sure how I feel about this shade of brown. You can see a bit of the lining here too...did someone say maximal?

(Staysfit, you might have been seeing a trick of the light, because both jackets are the exact same color!)

What's going on with the collar on the first jacket? It seems to be folding inwards which would drive me crazy unless you can fix it.

If the color isn't right, Jenn, I would pass. To me, that's such a big part of finding the right leather jacket. And I'm looking at this as a major purchase. If it's more of a jacket among many, then maybe a compromise on color is acceptable.

I think it looks decent with the boots, but not so much with the bag, by the way. You could always carry a red or black bag, though, when you wear this jacket.
