It was chilly in the morning and hot in the afternoon, so I wore this with and without the cascading cardigan:

I *never* tuck things in -- this was a reach for me. Still not sure it doesn't just make me look unflatterinlgly short-waisted.

Love your interpretation, April, and the different shades of black and gray. The skirt is beautiful and it looks great with the top tucked in! It would be a shame to hide the lovely draping effect.

Thank you all for your very kind words. The tucking in will still take some getting used to, but you're right Debora -- anything else would hide the draping detail, and what's the point of that?

Oh wow, April! You look stellar, and I love how the drapey skirt and cascading cardigan remind me of wind, and the grey-scale colors echo the black and white image. I LOVE the skirt on you.

This is a fantastic challenge entry; the greys and blacks are perfect. I really love the chiffon and the draping on that skirt, too. You wear it so well!

Without reading what others said. Actually I do like better the skirt with the top tucked in, and without the cascade cardi. You have a beautiful siloutte, why hiding it behind the cardi....of course, if it's chilly, yo can do, cause both the cardi and skirt (especially) are outstanding. just my opinion. thanks
